Boulder Tap House - Ames

Nice standard Sports bar and grill. The wait staff is friendly and fast, even on the weekends. All staff does wear masks and patrons are spaced out with no need for masks. There are a lots of TVs to watch the ballgame and its on almost all of them. They also have a nice selection of beer on tap. As for the food, the build your own burger is a great option but for $14 we thought is was a little over priced. The milk shakes are more like frozen chocolate or strawberry milk blended up. At $5 a pop we were hoping for more than a standard glass size. I was the only one in the party that did not like the Jalepeno bacon appetitizers. The cheese was a little too greasy and bland. Overall I will have to pass on this place next time were are in the area.

If you don't mind loud bar type restaurants, this is a great place to go. The food was amazing and the menu had a lot of great options. The staff were friendly and looked as if they were enjoying it as well. So many drink options and just generally a good place to eat! On vacation visiting family and would definitely eat here again!

Amazing. Customer. Service. I had an accident with ordering, a complete mess up on my part and came back to fix and the hostess was so nice and sweet about it and the owner came out and gave me a gift certificate for the MY mess up. I was completely not expecting this and just felt complete and true hospitality. Will definitely be ordered again from here. Thank you so much!
