Bridgets Steak House

We enjoyed an evening with friends for an occasion. The server was kind and catering, and the food was pretty good. We ordered the calamari. They made a sweet chill adaptation with bananas chips and granola, which was new and interesting in a pleasant way. We ordered the best of everything for two. It was served on a cutting board with a filet and lobster tail, but what I didn’t expect to be the main attraction was the seafood pot with jumbo shrimp, large scallops, and lump crab; it was terrific. Bridgets was a memorable time, with good ambiance, service, and delicious food.

4 star for great service and atmosphere. I don’t agree the food was worth the price. Location is on the corner which is easy to spot. Parking is difficult to find. On the weekends customers seem to be parking behind the restaurant where the train depot is. Food was prepared absolutely beautifully but everything was under seasoned. Like the decor, nice ambiance and seating was roomy.

I give a lot of great reviews to diners and burger joints. Sadly, my expectations of Bridget's was only met by the service of the staff. The scallops are very good. Probably cooked as perfect as they could be. (2) scallops. Probably U10 scallops. Underwhelming to share an appetizer. Short ribs was short rib. I've had poorer cuts of beef prepared better in a croc pot. This place is overly about presentation. I don't believe in smooshing meat into potatoes simply because it looks good on a dish. And how can you put so much salt on green beans? I really apologize for my harshness. But with your prices and presentation I really expected much more.

A tradition started a few years ago and continued with another enjoyable dinner experience at Bridget’s, tonight. I really appreciate the courtesy through making reservations, the incredible service provided and delicious food. Thank you Peter and everyone for all that you did to make our night that much better. We look forward to the next time!

When looking for a good steakhouse for us to try, I came across this option. So I decided to book it for dinner last Friday and so happy I did! Since we had reservations, we were seated immediately when we arrived. The vibe is very lively with nice chatter heard from other diners - and there was an impromptu performance from what sounded like carolers. The service was excellent! Our waiter was extremely attentive, prompt in taking our order, friendly and had a great personality in making some jokes and light talk with us. The food & drinks were brought out in perfect timing and it was delicious! We ordered one of the Butcher Box options for two - the Surf & Turf. The seafood on the board (lobster tails, shrimp and scallops) were very fresh and well seasoned. We got our steak cooked medium well which was great - I usually don't eat steak/beef, but wanted to try it and really liked the cook of this one. And our drinks - Mr. & Mrs. Blackberry Lemonades - were also great with just the right amount of liquor that there wasn't an overpowering taste of the alcohol. All in all, we loved this place! Would highly recommend dining with them and we hope to be back again soon.

Bridget's has fallen off. The only reason I'm giving up two stars is because the service was good. The cocktails were average yet the diver scallops were good. The filet was bland and with some kind of general tso's sauce. The branzino was flavorless, I didn't even take up any flavor or spices from the other ingredients on the plate. It's amazing that they charge those prices for this product

We went here for Restaurant Week and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. It was great seeing a place where everyone was so obviously enjoying themselves. The food was great and the staff was very friendly and excellent. They couldn't do enough for you. The restaurant had plenty of options on the special menu as well as regular menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner experience and look forward to coming back.

Disappointing. While the food was "ok" this place was billed as being a higher-end steakhouse and it simply is not. The ambiance is more local pub or inn and it's noisy. The big screen TV in the dining room was also unexpected. The service got off to a bad start with a very cool reception from the hostess, however the waitress was very nice. Bottom line is the value of the experience for the price point they are charging is just not there.
