Came here on a Wednesday night and it was not too packed at all. Our waitress was very friendly and kept our glasses topped and was quick to meet our needs. I ordered the 44 oz T-bone steak and I could barely finish it. The steak had great flavor and was spot on medium rare. My wife had the chicken fried steak which is not deep fried, try it, it's amazing and super tender, no knife required. They give free cobbler with every meal and I had the black raspberry and my wife had the apple. Beware its super delicious and you'll want more.

Free cobbler with every entree! Had catfish which was very good. Maybe a little salty, but still tasty! Blackberry cobbler was so yummy! Service was amazing! Liked the decor! Cute Texas farm theme (silverware in red bananas). Super clean.

Went for the Wednesday Meatloaf Special! Large portion of Meatloaf it was Delicious! Also had the Baked Sweet Potato and Mashed potatoes! The Sweet Potato was cooked perfect but was not very big in size! I enjoyed the ambiance it was Texas themed nice touch! Our waiter was spot on very professional! I recommend this restaurant!

Steakhouse with good service, delicious food, and fun steakhouse decor. We had a big group and a few orders were quickly fixed when they came out wrong, but everyone was very happy with their food and drinks. The server was very busy, as was the kitchen, but she came by often, answering any questions about the food, updating us on the progress of our order, and constantly refilling our drinks.
The appetizer of cheese fries were so good they got devoured in no time. The texas toothpicks were okay (fried onion & jalapeno strips with ranch) and we ate those all pretty quickly too. My rib eye was pretty good and all the sides were decent as well (mashed potatoes, green beans, fries, etc). The green chile hominy that I got was amazing - not at all what I expected, but basically hominy covered in green chile flavored cheese - SO GOOD! The burgers are a good size and have a good flavor to them. The huge margaritas were decent and were quite large, as promised. The complementary peach cobbler was absolutely delicious too.

We were looking for a new place to eat and a good steak, we decided to try Red River Steakhouse and we were not disappointed! Faith was our server and she was awesome! She was so nice and patient as we decided what to eat, she was quick with refills and the free cobbler at the end of our meal. She had multiple tables and we were still taken care of the whole time. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were amazing too!

Driving through on the way back from Colorado and we normally stop at Big Texan each year. When they had a 2 hour wait we searched and found this restaurant…. Who really is going to wait with kids at 8 pm to be seated for dinner at 10pm… nope! Honestly our group enjoyed the food here more than we have at Big Texan in the past. Fast seating, good service, all homemade food, 3.99 margaritas all day everyday, and free cobbler with dinner… we found our new steakhouse when coming through Amarillo! Thanks for a great dinner !

Absolutely delicious! Best meal we have had in a long time…homemade butter and everything. Joshua waited on us and was the perfect host. Then when we didn’t think it could get any better we got homemade peach cobbler. What more can I say except it is now on our “favorites” list.
