Amazing food and service! I would recommend this restaurant, both locations, to everyone.
Best Mexican food. !!! Best michealadas. Yum yum!!! I go eat every chance i get. Waitresses are friendly. Anything you want to eat they have it. Their salsa guisada is the best. Thank you Braceros.!!!!
This is a small little restaurant with some pretty good food. After we were seated they gave us some fresh warm tortilla chips with their house salsa and that's always a absolute must at any decent Mexican restaurant. I ordered the Mexican Dinner plate which came with 2 tamales, 1 cheese enchilada, 1 crispy chicken taco, it also came served with beans and rice. It came out hot and pretty fresh. The chicken was a little dry and the cheese enchilada was a little overwhelming. But overall I had a great meal, great waitress, and good experience here. I would recommend!
The food is very good, but my wife ordered the Tuesday special so the waitress asked what kind of meat she wanted, my wife asked what kind she could choose from. She gave her different kinds and types, my wife ordered the carne adobada. I had the guisada plate, when we received the check, my wife's plate price was double, we asked why the waitress asked the manager, the manager said that plate was the taco plate with choice of meat.... my wife specifically ordered the daily plate special, not the three taco plate, the waitress gave my wife the choice of meat. We went ahead and paid for the meal but be aware to point out the exact order from the menu. Not cool. The food is good though. The bathrooms are clean, clear and well maintained. The staff our waitstaff was attentive and professional. The host was very friendly, and polite, and sat us down where we wanted.

Excellent service and food at the restaurant! But got a dzn tamales togo but they were absolutely terrible. Worst I ever tasted.

One of my favorite places in Amarillo, Texas is Los Braceros. The shrimp cocktail recipe here is just dynamite and it goes perfectly with an ice cold Mexican beer on tap! I love the grilled quail here, as well as the spicy shrimp Cameron Diablo are really good. You will always get a fresh basket of chips, and fresh homemade salsa. Their tacos and enchiladas are top shelf, and I really love their Tacos Carbon - The meat is always so tender and a bit smoky, YUM!
Parking is available out front.
Overall I think the place is very good! They have lunch deals going on. The service is pretty quick. The nachos and salsa served at seating are complimentary. The server taking orders seemed concerned about customer food allergies. Unfortunately I am not aware/sure if they cater or provide delivery or pickup options.
My first time to try mole, and it was really good. I wish the food had been a bit hotter coming out of the kitchen, but it tasted good. The rice and beans were also excellent. We also ordered queso con chorizo and it was great, just not really good and hot with cooking heat. Their salsa was good also. The sweet tea was not drinkable, though. It was pure sugar syrup. I'm not a sweet tea drinker, my daughter is and she and my grandson both agreed. I had half and half tea and it was super sweet for me. We'll definitely go back, though!!
Almost every time we pass through Amarillo we stop for Los Braceros. It is so good every time and always fast to boot. The pork adobada fajitas are incredible. My entire family ordered them this latest trip and there were no regrets. The enchiladas are good as well but the fajitas are the star for sure.
