I love this place so much! We have made it a tradition to stop in for dinner before going to Terlingua. I had the salmon and it was INCREDIBLE! It was recommended by a friend and they were right. My husband had the burger and we had the nachos as an appetizer. The half order is PLENTY. The whole order of nachos is a literal baking sheet of nachos. Great food, great service and priced for the gem that it is.

Great Place. A little pricey, but if you want a Tenderloin steak that is melt in your mouth delicious, it's worth it. The New York Strip is another great option. The loaded baked potato is the best compliment to all steaks. The nachos are outstanding and have to add the smoked brisket to full appreciate this appetizer. For dessert, the lemon blueberry crumb cake can't be beat. They have a great wine list and the view is fantastic. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed the real experience. If you are in the area, make the trip and you won't be sorry. Enjoy!

Another great dinner at the SQC7. The brisket nachos are amazing and everyone we bring there agrees. Then the number one item for your main course has to be the filet. It comes on a cast-iron skillet and a bed of sautéed onions and a slab of melting garlic butter as a cover. I like the side of fries that come crispy on the out side with a soft center and lightly salted. All the desert options are terrific, but I went with the crème brulée cheesecake, which is as delicious as it sounds. Enjoy whatever you get and enjoy the views from the enclosed patio area.

Enjoyed dining in - had only picked up take-out before. Staff were all very friendly; our server Ariel was attentive but not overly so. Seared salmon w/capers was quite good and the broccoli was cooked perfectly. Wine menu was a bit pedestrian, but adequate.

Great experience having an excellent dinner. So glad that we arrived early for dinner not realizing the demand and number of customers waiting to be seated. Very impressed with the service as well as of the daily specials. Nothing short of outstanding and will strongly recommend them; just make sure that you arrive early or make the reservations ahead of time.

This restaurant is excellent quality and the food is outstanding.I had the prime rib special and was absolutely fantastic. My fiancé had the grilled salmon and was also perfect. I explained in the reservation there, that I was going to propose and that’s was all I wrote. They placed us near the huge fireplace, away from the rest of the tables. It couldn’t have been more perfect. The staff there is outstanding. It was our first time there and we had no idea it would be that fantastic aesthetically or the food.

Nice selection of food and liquor. The bar area was very nice with sports television and seating. Bartender was friendly and efficient. Not impressed with open dining on concrete floor. Just lacked ambiance. Cost of full entrée on the high side. Two glasses of wine, one hard drink, two side salads, one 10" cheese pizza, and cup of soup was in $75 range. Steak would put you at $100 before tip. Can do better at other restaurants in the area. Very friendly and attentive waitstaff.
