Magoo's Place

Stopped here because there were very few options in Alpine on a Tuesday that were open for business. When we saw the busy parking lot we were hoping for some amazing food and great service, but were let down on both. It's very confusing and chaotic inside - no clear indications if you're supposed to seat yourself or wait to be seated by staff. We ended up ordering a couple of BLTs to go. Came with fries, which were unsalted, soggy and sad. There was more than enough bacon on the sandwiches, maybe a bit too much, but at the end of the day it was a BLT. Not worth the long wait, though. We probably would have been better off going to McDonald's across the street.

Small eatery with good homestyle cooking. The packcakes were fluffy and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I didn't care for the sausage patty, but the bacon was fine. The service was good and prompt and the coffee was hot. Overall it was a good experience. The cleanliness of the facility was average, but it is a diner. I recommend it for breakfast for sure.
