Railroad Blues

Came with a friend. It was both our first time in alpine. The older lady behind the bar was the rudest b*tch I have ever met. She asked for ids rudely and didn't honor happy hour even though we came with plenty of time before it ended. Every interaction was unpleasant. Never coming back again. This place looked promising

Went to this bar with a few friends. Everyone was being chill and my friend was at the bar quiet taking to someone when my friend who was outside got rowdy and told to leave. Then the "bouncer" Oscar came in to my friend at the bar and told me I had to leave and take care of it because he came with me? Like what is the point of a bouncer who doesn't do what he's supposed to. My friend had already walked off and left but he was continually harrased by this so called "bouncer" this guy didn't go up to any of the others in the group to take care of it. Just singled me out. When I told him no hes not my problem he's a grown man he started harassing me yelling and cussing at me. Not professional never going back.

Nice little bar. It was quiet for 9:30 on a Friday night which was ok for the 5 of us in town to do a little motorcycle riding in Big Bend. Good beer selection and prices seemed low too. Only complaint was being asked to pay the $7 cover charge if we were going to stay past 10pm as a band was coming on. We had planned to have a couple of drinks but had only one instead. Never had a bar ask for a cover charge after I had bought a drink.

Saturday night. Local band. $8 cover. No drafts. This is at least the second time in the last 3 weeks for this problem. Beer is warm coming out of the cooler. About 4-5 people hanging around entrance collecting cover charges, but doin nothing about the piss warm beer. Need to step up their game a bit.
