Another Indian restaurant in the Alpharetta/Cumming region. When you enter the restaurant you are greeted at the entrance and the host takes you to your table or booth. We took the booth near the window.
The restaurant was playing old Indian classic music and the interiors has some portraits from Mumbai and one with Amitabh and Dilip Sahab.
We ordered Palak and Kale Chaat and Bhel Puri to start with. Palak and Kale chaat was a different take on Indian snack. Bhel Puri was ok and it was missing the Bhel Puri punch.
In the main course we ordered Paneer Makhanwala ( different name of Paneer Tikka Masala or Paneer Makhani) along with Butter Naam and Lachha Parantha. The breads were fluffy and well cooked. They were crisp and one of the best I had in recent times.
There is free Papad as well!!!
Overall a good restaurant to visit. Might come back again in near future

The food at Mumbai Indian Bistro is always top notch. We often go for dinner (have never been for the lunch buffet.) The selection is good. Very flavorful. You can have it as spicy or as mild as you prefer.
My kids love it since they don't tolerate any level of spiciness. But even then, the food is very flavorful.
Staff is always super helpful and attentive. Very clean and classy restaurant.

I went here with my family last night, and I must say the food was by far some of the best Indian food I have ever had. The meats were quite juicy, and the quality of the flavor was excellent. Also the ambience of the restaurant was really nice, it's just a chill place to enjoy a meal. I will definitely be eating here frequently. However, be forewarned that this restaurant is still new and still getting into the groove of things, thus some orders might take a bit of time, but I assure you the wait is worth it.

One of the best Indian restaurants I've been to! Not as traditional as other Indian places, in my opinion. The interior is really modern and the food is different and very delicious. They offer a lunch buffet (I'm usually not a fan of buffets, but this place is great!) that includes a variety of different food options and dessert. The prices are VERY reasonable! Love this place.

Having tried most of the Indian restaurants north Atlanta has to offer , I think this is one of the most authentic regional Indian food experiences you will have. Every state in India has a different style of cuisine and Mumbai bistro is a welcome relief in the sea of mediocre offerings .
The bistro had a soft launch this week. They have a lunch buffet everyday with 10 different dishes on offer., including fresh naan , served at the table. The food is absolutely delicious. Much care has gone into the taste. Each dish has been well prepared with discernible flavors and well balanced spices. Can't wait for their a la carte to kick in completely, especially the beverages section.
The front of house service was very attentive and not at all intrusive. Decor is clean and unobtrusive . The food is truly the star.
We left completely satisfied with our experience!

My wife and I went to Mumbai for dinner tonight and everything was delicious! The service was impeccable and the decor was also really well done. I'm excited that we have a brand new spot to eat within a couple of miles of home! Looking forward to checking out the lunch buffet soon.

We had lunch at the buffet today: excellent food with a great spread. The Punjabi kadi was just out of the world. The mutton curry was the best dish on hand.
Great place to eat and excellent service. Discovered a gem in our neighborhood.

Delicious variety of Indian food. There were 5 in our party and only I was familiar with Indian food. We had one vegan and one vegetarian with us, so it made sharing everything a bit of a challenge, but it worked. There were many dishes I never heard of but we tried based on the description and ingredients. I did suggest the butter chicken and tandoori chicken Tikka. These I knew would be hits and they were. The eggplant mash was new to all but delicious, as was the garlic Naan.
Overall, it was a very good experience and I would go back.
