Allentown Brew Works

I am a photographer who shot a wedding here at Fegley's last month. This process was seamless. My second shooter and I were able to meet with the coordinator, Jared, a week beforehand. He showed us all of the rooms, and explained the setup for everything. He was also available via email whenever needed. The wedding day itself was wonderful; everything was taken care of, and my couple was so happy. Plus, the food was amazing! This is a wonderful wedding venue (and restaurant - the soft pretzels changed my life!)

Always a great pre-game meal at the Allentown Brew Works. Short walk to the PPL Center. Great in-house beers pair well with good food. Festivus is their holiday-themed IPA, very smooth and great with the turkey burger. Diverse menu of appetizers, from pierogis and chicken wings to a monster-size plate of nachos. Lots of great sandwiches too.

What a bad brunch experience 😕 today at the Allentown location my daughters chicken was old and overcooked and dried out it also had a weird smell to it. And the worst chocolate chip pancake I ever had it tasted like cardboard with chips on top unbelievable. The waiter was nice but the Bethlehem location is way better whenever I have a meal there you can tell the cook shows love to the dishes he brings out of that kitchen. NOT THE ALLENTOWN LOCATION MY DAUGHTER COULD HAVE MADE BETTER PANCAKES FROM A BOX AND SHES ONLY 9. AND I STILL HAD TO PAY FOR THE DISHES THAT WE DIDN'T EVEN EAT.

Made a reservation here this past Saturday for a family member's graduation lunch. I received a call the previous Monday confirming the time and size of my party. We showed up after graduation only to find out that they were closed this day for another event. The door was open but no one was inside. Called several times with no response. Very disappointing as we were not able to to get seated anywhere else because of our party size and the late notice. Horrible management error. Will not be returning. Not to mention there were other families from the graduation there that also made reservations for that day and had to find somewhere else to eat.

We visited last night after a phantoms game. When we walked it the space was fairly empty which was good as we were all pretty hungry and figured we’d get to eat quickly. We sat and didn’t see a server for over 20min, who then tried to take care of the table who just sat ‘as they were seated before us’. It just went down from there. The Moscow mule I ordered was only lime juice, it became a joke at the table it was so bad but we never saw the server to complain until the food came out and at that point we just wanted to eat. The food took forever. The server told us she’d have to look for silverware when my bf asked if I could have a fork, I order Mac and cheese, one was found. We were then informed they were out of napkins, which the other 3 at the table had ordered burgers so they were necessary. I managed to find 3 napkins under the bowls so how out you were, I’m not sure. These issues were blamed on the banquet upstairs but if you can’t give all guests a good experience don’t have the dining room open with a banquet. All of the food was cold: the soup to dip the pretzels, the Mac and cheese, the burgers. We never saw the server again to even say something and at this point it had been an hour since we sat so we ate. The food tasted good but apparently warm food is too much to ask for. We had also asked for the Sixers game to be turned on (the Lakers game was on?), the host told us to tell the server, the server ignored us, the bartender was great and did it. Overall I’m not sure what the problem was but mediocre experience at best.

My family and I walked in on a hockey game night and we were pleasantly surprised to be seated in about 20 minutes. Our server (name ?) was great, the food was good, and the beer was nice and cold! Great location across from PPL center as we went to the game afterwards. This sounds weird, but the music that was playing (loudly!) was this thrasher, head banging, screaming songs. I jokingly asked our waiter (who was very good to us) what was up with the awful music and he said his manager plays it bc he (she?) likes that type of music. What kind of manager would play that music in a place that seemed to be filled with families getting ready to go to the Phantoms game? I might sound petty, but it was really loud and annoying. We did attempt to select our own songs on their touchscreen music device, but didn’t really have any success. ☹️
