It is definitely our most favorite place to go to eat!! Great cucumber martinis and NEVER had a bad meal. Their seafood is out of this world!!! And the salad bar is the best. Highly recommend Henry’s Salt of the Sea!!

New Years Eve was our first time at Henry’s Salt of the Sea, I would highly recommend this place, the food was fantastic and the service was excellent, for being a holiday I made reservations and when we arrived we were seated within minutes after arriving, my husband had surf and turf and is still talking about how he could cut the steak with his fork. We definitely will be going back.

My family and I made a reservation for 8:00 on a Saturday night. We normally don't eat that late but that was the only time they had available (I called the day before).
The first thing I noticed while walking through the front door is how small this establishment was. There were 13 tables I believe along with a bar-top. I could now see why it's almost impossible to get a table without a reservation.
After our server greeted us and got our drinks we ordered appetizers. All of their appetizers sounded good but we decided to try their escargot, stuffed mushrooms, shrimp ravioli, and lobster mac. All fantastic! My two favorites were the stuffed mushrooms and lobster mac-n-cheese.
Next, we all helped ourselves to the salad bar (included with every dinner entree). Everything seemed to be fresh and it had a decent selection. I made two trips!
Finally, dinner! I ordered one of their seafood specials called Fruits de Mers. It had lobster, shrimp, scallops, and crabmeat in a garlic cream sauce, and it was served over linguini. It was phenomenal! Without a doubt, top 5 dishes I've ever had.
Our waitress was very nice and brought out our food in a timely manner. We didn't wait long for our food, but it didn't come out super quick where we feel rushed either. The drinks were always kept full, and she made sure we liked everything that we ordered.
We all had an awesome experience! The prices are expensive but the food is definitely worth it.

Fantastic. Great place. Small, so can be cramped, a small sacrifice for fantastic food. Reservations are needed and parking can be tough but well worth it!

Fine Seafood in a Relaxed Atmosphere. Reservations are recommended and forget about just walking in on a Friday or Saturday night. We were lucky to dine on a very quiet Monday evening.
We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. I hesitate to describe it as a 'hole-in-the-wall' but from the outside it appears tiny. The atmosphere is very relaxed and you would be over-dressed in anything other that jeans or slacks.
I would say the prices are commensurate with the quality of the food we enjoyed.
But then you always get what you pay for.
Your entree includes the salad bar, breads, your choice of potato and vegetable.
I started with the Bacon Wrapped Scallops as an appetizer while my dining partner had the Snapper Soup au Sherry, both were excellent. For our entrees she had the Sauteed Jumbo Lump Crab cakes and I delved into the Maryland Style Twin Lobster Tails. It was refreshing to have seafood prepared without a lot of salt and spices that usually make it difficult to determine what seafood you are eating. We both enjoyed our entrees immensely and were quite sated by the fair. Menu item were served without much delay and each course was well paced.
Overall - we were very pleased with our dining experience and would recommend Henry's to anyone looking for fine seafood in a relaxed atmosphere.
I didn't know PA had good seafood. Until I went to Henry's! Best place I've ever been to. I hate Red Lobster and the blah seafood salted to hell and sauced up until you close your eye and don't know what ocean critter you are eating. This place is the best experience I've ever had. Staff was friendly and the food was amazing!

Went here for 10 yr anniversary and plan on making this place a teaditon!!!! Awesome food!!! Service was outstanding!!!! A definite must! Will highly recommend to family and friends.!!!
Tiny but Mighty. This little hole in the wall offers up some of the best seafood in Allentown. If you're looking for an elegant atmosphere, this not the place. If you're looking for good seafood at a reasonable price, this is for you!
