On the last day of their strawberry pancakes special, which looked amazing BTW my GF and I stopped by for treats and brunch. I got shrimp and grits and they were some of the best I’ve ever had, if not the best. My GF had a waffle with strawberries, she let me have a bite and it too was scrumptious. The service was mediocre at best however they were really busy at the time. The sweets were good, not too sweet with lovely flavors.

This is my favorite place to go to in Alexandria for breakfast/brunch. I have tried most of the menu items and I have yet to find one that I didn't enjoy. The eggs Benedict are amazing, and so is the Belgian waffle. The Ruben at lunch time is my favorite. I tell everyone I know that lives in the area to visit. The bakery is also axing and full of delicious cakes, pies, and cookies. 8 have to bring cookies from here for friends that live out of state when I travel to see them.

The owner, she is one of the owner is very rude and unprofessional. I waited over a hour for some shrimp and grits. I told two different employees several times what I had order and they went back their several times to check on my shrimps and grits and she gone tell me they didnt have my ticket and didnt no what I order. How you dont know when I'm telling you my exact order. Then you have other customers come and sit down and they get their food in about 15 minutes after I been waiting over a hour and after I mention that to you them the first thing you holler you want a refund. Very biggity and have a nonchalant attitude. I will never go back their she is very rude and the customer service is horrible. You cant tell me because the cashiers was young they didnt know what they was doing and didnt tell you all. That's a lie they told the cooks and whoever else was back there because everytime they came and told me yall kept saying five more minute You knew you just didnt care. A professional owner and a person with good customer service skills would have said this customer have been waiting for over a hour go ahead and get her shrimp and grits ready instead she was rude and still didnt know how long it was going to be and ask me did I want a refund. She still didnt fix my plate and they steady giving people they food that was dining in after ordering they food fifteen minutes ago after I been waiting over a hour. Just sad!!!

Love this place.❤️❤️❤️❤️. I’m 36. My mom use to get me these cakes every year for my birthday when I was younger. I can remember they sweet icing smell. 😋I have moved to Texas over ten years ago. On my mom 50th Birthday I drive 5 hours to return a favor. I couldn’t wait to come in this place and taste a piece of 🍰. It brought back so many memories. I also remember the commercial they use to play😊🥳. Thanks for not changing a thang. I will return again.
