Tropical Smoothie Cafe

On a busy Saturday afternoon, I waited 45 minutes to receive my food. Somehow, my order was forgotten or overlooked. The upside is that the food and smoothies were surprisingly good. I had a Thai chicken wrap and a peanut butter cup. Despite the good food, I won't go back to this location. I have a low tolerance for poor customer service at eateries. The cook was kind and apologetic, but the manager wouldn't even look at us or acknowledge my grievance. What a terrible example of leadership.

really deserves a 0. these people are racists towards black people. the Ethiopian owner as well as the lady are very rude. They helped another customer before me (white) I was already in line waiting to place my order the customer asked if she could finish with her order, I asked could they open up another register so I can place my order because I had been waiting, the lady dismissed me and helped the lad, and when I asked for another associate to assist me the owner told me I can go somewhere else because I would not recommend this location to anyone. not to mention the guy kept rolling his eyes at me while I waited for my food. horrible individuals. another white customer came inside the lady was beyond nice and was going above and beyond to help him, but when other black customers came inside they were very short with them.

Visits to this location have made me realize that maybe other tropical smoothies are not so bad…🧐 Included a picture of my detox island green which tasted terrible (i threw it out) and was clearly darker than they ever are. Are you guys just using bad vegetables?? The copy/paste response from corporate goes to show about how much they care.

Thought i’d write a review to say this location is AWFUL. Managers are very rude to employees and have horrible customer service when issues arise. I worked here summer 2021 and it was such a negative work environment, disrespect everyday DO NOT APPLY HERE. The managers & owner are all Ethiopian so they talk amongst themselves and it’s their word against yours. All in All i wouldn’t recommend coming here as you will get treated bad and other locations have better smoothies.

This tropical smoothie location has completely ruined my chances of ever going back to a tropical smoothie again. Mobile pickup is nearly impossible, as all of the workers are too occupied with what they're doing to interact with the customers. It is almost like pulling teeth trying to get the attention of one of the workers. The management seems equally as disinterested, it's like all of the employees have a fear of customer service. The staff at this location needs some new faces. I will NOT be coming back, and will be letting all of my friends and family know to AVOID the tropical smoothie in Belle View.

This location really deserves 0. I've been to this location multiple times to give it a chance and now I remember why I stopped. 1st- when I received my smoothie it wasn't full. There was a good portion that was missing. If I'm paying $5.79 for a smoothie I expect it to be filled to the rim like the rest of the customers. (Picture attached. My cup was not full.) 2nd- they really need to double check orders. I ordered 2 smoothies and waited over 15 minutes for my drink alone. And another 5-10 minutes because they forgot my second drink. With this being said, I WILL NOT be returning to this location anymore. I'm better off going to the Slater's lane or landsdowne center dr location where I know my order is accurate and I get what I paid for.
