Jerry's Subs & Pizza

I have to be honest. I was worried about ordering from Jerry's Subs and Pizza Delivery. The online reviews for the one in my area is really mixed. But the one thing most agreed on was just how good their sandwiches were. So I took the risk and ordered a Thursday special. In other words a Pepper Jack Cheesesteak combo which came with potato wedges and a drink. I decided on Birch Beer. I also ordered a Fresh Baked Chocolate Brownie. First, they got here pretty fast. Well within the 45 minutes I think of as standard. Then I took a look at the food. My GOD, the sandwich is HUGE! And the drink wasn't just a can of soda. It was a proper cup with ice in the drink. The wedges came with about five packages of ketchup. And while the brownie may look small it is PURE gooey chocolate. It is less brownie and mostly melted chocolate. They also gave me a straw and napkins. This was a great meal for the price and could have easily been made into two meals. But...I could not help myself and ate it all. Now, after this is posted, will go enter food coma. Addition - a few days ago, after coming home from spending time with family during Easter Weekend, found condo mostly empty of food. So decided to order some more food from Jerry's. Ordered the Tuesday Combo which, funny enough, was like the Thursday Combo I ordered. In other words Pepper Jack Cheesesteak Combo with wedge fries and a drink. I order a diet Coke and also another brownie. The driver was here before their own ETA and very polite. The food was hot and good and the sandwich was huge as before. And yes, lots of napkins and ketchup. Update - Finally decided to order a medium sized pizza from Jerry's. Many reviews seemed to have mixed reviews about their pizza. I ordered one with Mushrooms, Anchovies, and Sliced Jalapenos. Plus a cookie. It arrived within a reasonable amount of time and was hot. The cookie (of course I ate it first) was good but not as good as the brownies. Also, while I enjoyed the pizza, I realized that I wasn't really happy with the type of anchovies they used on the pizza. There are different types and these just were not doing for me. The pizza was still good - I had leftovers for dinner and breakfast - but next time I think I will skip the anchovies. I don't plan to take points away because those are not problems - those are just my opinions. A question of taste. I tried it something new - I didn't like it - I will try something else next time.

I had not had Jerry's in soo long. So today was the day I decided to indulge...... My man was playing his video game. I took this beautiful picture and sent it to him he came running out the basement... 😂😂 My daughters and I destroyed! DESTROYED that sub sandwhich. It was too beautiful to eat at first. Thanks Guys!!

Ordered two cheesesteaks, some cheese fries, and a small pizza (Pickup Order #2565925) tonight for dinner. Ordered using their app and it said 20 minutes. I show up and have to wait 15 minutes longer because they clearly didn’t start my order before I got there. I had two watch two employees scream at each other while one of them “cooked” my food. Well it was no wonder my cheesesteaks were way over cooked and my pizza was undercooked. I don’t come to Jerry’s expecting f fine dining, but when I spend $50 I expect food better than this. Would have been better off to go to McDonald’s.

My friend and I were going to go to Big Bite next door but decided to give Jerry's a try instead. We ordered a large plain pizza. They cut a large into 12 pieces so we both had 6 pieces and it really hit the spot. I enjoyed the red pepper and Italian seasoning shakers that they have on the side, and the peppercinis. I like my crust doughy so will probably go to Big Bite next time, but the pizza was still good overall!

Was a little worried when I saw some of the reviews but my cheesesteak was very good. The service was good also. It took about 5 minutes to be ready. A little more expensive than I remember but the price of beef has gone up. I was sad when they closed the Jerry's on route one near Kings Hwy but this location is still open.
