I ordered online. The timing was perfect and they got the order right.
One of the best places to get a steak n cheese. Their pizza is delicious and they cut it like a triangle, not squares (if that makes any difference).

The sandwich was good and the sweet tea was just right. I opted for the steak and cheese and the 8" was plenty. I haven't been to Big Al's since I was a teenager. I'm 44 now and surprisingly they are still around. Customer service was pleasant.
For a quality Cheesesteak in the NOVA area, this is the place. Good portions, great quality. Fries were a little on the soggy side, but overall food was great. Limited seating. Also my 9 year old recommend the gyros, said it was 3 goods (his normal scale is 2 goods is great). Overall, they do cheesesteaks well.
If I closed my eyes, my cheese steak transported me to South Philly. (Full disclosure I have never lived in South Philly but have dined on their cheesesteaks). What I really enjoyed was the thinly sliced iceberg lettuce it just worked. The sandwich was a tad to salty but if I was overly worried about my diet I would not have been there. I review many upscale restaurants and this one is basic as you might expect with limited tables. But so good...
Cheesestraks are always good, but they have terrific breakfast sandwiches too! I love the bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel.
