Sugar Palm Thai Restaurant

I ordered pad Thai and green curry. The noodles are stuck together as one mass and have no taste whatsoever. The green curry taste like watered down yellow colored milk with no flavoring. The smell of the food is nauseating. Not to mention the rice is a hard lump of absolutely no flavor. The food is inedible. I will not be ordering from here and highly encourage you to read the rest of the reviews for this business. I am sad at the $ spent here as I will be tossing this food.

We ordered from Uber Eats and it is terrible! This is some of the worst Thai food I've had! The Tom Yum soup looks like chicken soup with a little bit of sourness, but no spiciness. The papaya salad has no spiciness. The worst part is that they're serving chicken thighs instead of chicken breast. That is completely unacceptable! The chicken thigh texture feels like it's been frozen. Absolutely disgusting! The chicken noodles were the best thing out of our $90 order.

I should have trusted the reviews listed. I was here from Baltimore on business and decided to look up a local Thai food spot. Upon entering, I was stared at until I announced “I’d like to eat here.” After I was seated it took at least seven min for the waiter to come back to my table even though I was the only one in the restaurant! I started with an appetizer and drink. I ordered the Sugar Plum Sangria… horrible! It tasted like straight up vodka … I’m going to finish it though ;). I ordered the shrimp in a blanket… the shrimp tastes frost bitten, no flavor at all. Finally I ordered the Tofu Panang… the flavor was nice but the consistency of the fried tofu was off, sort of chewy. This place has a TON of potential… location, diverse demographics, residential and commercial spaces nearby, layout, etc. but they’re missing a few key elements to make the experience pleasant. If the owner is interested in reaching out I’m more than happy to share my recommendations. At heart, I’m a foodie and want to see every restaurant, including this one, thrive.

I would not recommend eating here. We ordered summer rolls, the ginger tofu, spicy basil fried rice and Tom yum soup. The only thing that was good was the summer rolls. The veggie spicy basil fried rice was terrible, had no flavor or spice and very few veggies. Fried rice from a takeout Chinese spot is much better. The ginger tofu was just fine. There are soo many other Thai spots in the area that are a lot better.

The food has the heat, seasoning and sauce that makes you want to ask for more rice so that you don't leave one drop behind. It has been months since I was able to sit and eat at a restaurant. We sat outside in the shade with great cuisine brought to us. There is nothing like supporting a small business and knowing that every meal makes a difference. Come and enjoy the spacious outdoor seating.

Horrible afternoon lunch experience! Ordered food , and food came with heavy smell on them ! It smells horribly nasty ! We have just realized that , containers they use for carry out , has a some dirty , humid cloth smell on them . They ruined our appetite . Never , ever try food delivery from this place. We have a big concern now , what kind of oil or ingredients can cause this nasty smell, beside container issues ! If it is regular smell that their food has it , big question for mouth taste of the people who supports them !
