This is one of the best Italian food restaurants I've eaten at in Alexandria! It is very authentic. I am Italian and finding good food in this area is very difficult, but Aldo's Italian Kitchen is the real deal. The sauce is delicious, not acidic or bitter. My husband had the chicken parm dinner and loved it! I sampled it and boy was it good! I'm very skeptical about ordering Italian food so I had the Italian wedding soup and oven roasted basil chicken caesar salad. It was delicious as well. Huge portion at low prices. We will defiantly be eating here again (especially if I don't feel like cooking!!!). To top it all off the owner makes you feel like you are in his home. So incredibly friendly!! If you want GREAT food this place will not disappoint. Truly a hidden gem!

We had a private function at Aldo's Italian Kitchen. There are only good no great things to say about it. The food was fabulous. The mozzarella is fresh along with all of the other offerings!!! I will say it again - everything is homemade by the chef and fresh!! The proprietors are the kindest and most accommodating people we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with as caterers. We had fresh mozzarella with tomatoes and basil (salad caprese) fresh mozzarella round sticks./balls (fried mozzarella) with marinara. Our main meal was sausage and peppers in a light tomato sauce with pasta and chicken piccata with a side spinach dish along with a fantastic green leaf salad. We had about 40 people and not one left without telling us how excellent the food tasted! Everyone was already making plans to come back for lunch and dinner. The prices are more than reasonable especially considering the quality of the food, I would rate this establishment with all 5 stars - the owners (chef etc) priceless. cibo delizioso (delicious food)!!!!!
