I have been here twice with my fiancé and Lena's never does anything other than impress. Friday nights are a full house, but the friendly host found us a table immediately. Server was friendly and attentive. The pasta and pizza dishes are delicious. The appetizers and desserts are great as well. Fresh ingredients with traditional Italian flare. Thin crust wood fired pizzas are our favorite; especially with arugula on top! We have also had the giant meatball, vegetable antipasto, charcuterie platter, buttercup squash gnocchi, chicken parmisan and gelato. All were excellent. Local craft beer too. Check this place out...walking distance from the Braddock Road Metro station.

Lena’s Pizza is absolutely outstanding! Best pizza in Alexandria (try the Diavola - I hope I got the name right - the one with fried kale on top), their meatball appetizer is awesome and I tried for the first time last night the gnocchi, ... absolutely delicious! My family and I have been there countless times and they never disappoint!
