We found this food truck parked unassumingly off Central Ave. Words cannot describe the flavor explosion that awaits you when you bite into one of these dogs. You can pick from an extensive list of topping choices. We were informed that most people order the dogs fully loaded. Sounds soggy and messy right? Nope. We got two that way and even after the drive home, we unwrapped those wieners to find perfect flavor nirvana waiting for us sans the dreaded soggy bun. We tried two more dogs with the toppings slightly modified and both were equally delicious.The roasted jalapeños included were just the proverbial cherry on top. Must try!!

These dogs are the BEST I've ever had! You will not be disappointed, but go before 8pm. They sell out every night! Get them with everything in them. I do... minus onions lol. So, so yummy!!! The bun itself is also so tasty.

Update: Everything I said still applies. However, I suggest that you call ahead to make your order. They are so popular that there is an hour or more wait sometimes.
Previous: I wanted a hot dog. I am so glad I stopped here. The best hot dog I have had in years. This was a junkyard dog but perfect. I am so happy. The price cannot be beat either ($3.85). For a food truck and for such a great mix of flavors you can't beat it. I will be back.

A friend of mine recommended this place after I kept raving about the hot dogs I had in Tucson. I’ve been coming here for several years now. This place is authentic, and the food rivals the quality of places I’ve been to in AZ. It’s been great to see the couple that runs this business have such success, and to see them upgrade from a little cart up to a full fledged food truck. Such a nice couple! They’ve earned it!

Great prices, all they do are hot dogs but they done to perfection! Chips and drinks are extra...but if you compare it to the cost of a burger at any joint they're winning by a mile. Only open during the evening so no lunch break hot dogs for me :(

Change your life and go eat these things!!!!! Dont dare to order it to go your first time. Cause your going to want more thats for sure. I grew up with a few places in Phoenix making these so good. When I moved here a couple places had them but nothing to the high standards I have these at before. I friend then told me about the Sonora Dogs truck so I gave it a try. From the very first bite it tasted like home! An absolutely must I say everyone should try. Along with an amazing family who runs the truck always welcoming with open arms.

Best sonora dogs I've ever had! Mm! And their roasted jalapeños are always spicy! Wish they did lunch hours since I tried to go have lunch there once, but definitely recommend you go try this if you never have before! I'm craving one now! They come with beans, bacon wrapped hot dog, tomatoes, chile sauce, ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise. Man it's been too long since I've had one of these! All of this on a hot dog bun. Comes with a roasted jalapeño too. There's no seating available, so it's similar to a drive up window. Just park in the loan business right next to it and you can eat outside or in your car. They have drinks and snacks available as well.

The BEST authentic mexican style hot dogs! I use to travel deep in Mexico and eat at a food truck that served hot dogs jst as good as these. It took me years to find a place that's jst as good as those hoy dog were!
