Food was amazing! Just like back in the day!!! They do need to get some AC going...but other than that it was wonderful!!!

Tasty enough for the price. Vegetable dishes not bad. Open till 9....later takeout helpful.

This place is fantastic! Hands down one of the best Chinese food places to eat in the city. No nonsense, delicious, and affordable. I ordered Chicken Egg Foo Young, Sweet n Sour Chicken, spring rolls, chicken wings(for the 7yr old), and crab wontons. Our takeout bill was about $35. Everything was worth it! The Egg Foo Young had 3 huge pancakes that was too much for me and I ended up sharing it with my mate. Sweet n Sour was superb, even the 7yr old ate it(without the sauce). Overall, I'll continue to keep coming back here and enjoying their wonderful food.

Just had this place for the first time, and definitely not the last. We’ve been trying to eat local to support local during the pandemic, and we decided HEY WHY NOT!!? WELL it definitely hit the spot, not too expensive for the amount of food given. Don’t let the look of the exterior fool you, this is our new go to when we have a craving for good homemade Chinese food.

Interior and exterior could use some work. Food is great, reasonable priced, moderately clean dishes. Dinner was pretty delicious. Customer service was ok, wait staff could smile more. Order hot tea to drink and tea class were a little dirty. Besides that dinner was great.

Don't let the appearance of the building fool you, I'm always impressed with this restaurant. I'm always met with friendly staff and the food is decent (it won't win awards but it's definitely one of the best in ABQ). And you can't fault them for their generous portion sizes!

Clean, dated with a mom and pop feel. We waited a long time for our food because the kitchen was behind, but once it came out everything was good. The one waiter was friendly and provided great service.

Lam's is undeniably my favorite Chinese restaurant in Albuquerque for several reasons; It's portions are large and fairly priced, its service is great, and I appreciate the local small atmosphere it brings to me every time I visit. I will enjoy dining there again and again. I'm also more than happy to share my opinion.

Lam's Chinese Restaurant is under new management... within the last 6-12 months. I love the management change as I really enjoy their beef with snow peas dish (as well as other beef dishes.) The meat is much more tender than the old management served.... theirs was like cardboard. My son gets vegetarian dishes, and doesn't appreciate the way the new menu is layed out....all vegetarian dishes are intermingled with other dishes. I love the sauces, my son thinks they are all bland. Thus the 4 stars.....

Looks questionable from the outside. But once in, the staff was very friendly. I ordered mabo tofu, same as my friend with hot and sour soup. They informed me that they only had enough tofu for one order, so my friend got the egg foo young.
Everyrhing was delicious and well prepared. the hot and sour soup wasnt jist hot vinegar and water. there was acutally things in it with a rich consistancy... the mabo tofu was so delicious with a very nice gravy. very good.
