Review Whataburger - Albuquerque

It's been several years since I last ate at Whataburger and since I don't surprisingly have a Whataburger back home (Las Vegas, Nevada)...yet, I had to make it a point to visit here while traveling for work because I love this fast food restaurant. I stopped here on 14 Oct 2023 around 4:50 pm and it was a great experience overall. I will say that this restaurant is probably the smallest Whataburger I've ever visited in my life (most of the restaurants I've visited were in Texas). The employees working during the time of my visit were very friendly, attentive, and moved at a respectable rate of speed - zero issues with their customer service! The food itself were great. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich meal (this was the first time trying a chicken sandwich at Whataburger and I'll admit, their chicken sandwiches are up there in ranking with their wonderful burgers, and I'll even match them with Chick-fil-A. I know it's a bold statement but the seasoning on the chicken, along with the sauce is phenomenal. I also ordered a Whataburger Jr. with Cheese because I can't just order a chicken sandwich at a burger place. I was slightly disappointed that the burger bun was a little smashed but oh well, that didn't make me lose any sleep. I forgot how good their fries were...my favorite fast food fries is from McDonald's and Wendy's...but this is up there with them. The restaurant wasn't 100% clean when I walked in (tables and chairs still needed cleaning); however, the restaurant cleanliness was adequate. While I was eating, I did notice the cashier cleaning around the dining area a little until more customers walked in. Overall, I enjoyed the visit and definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Top notch Whataburger. 👌 most of these are nice and clean, every now and then you will see a dirty whataburger, but this place is super clean everytime I come. They always have all the sauces, napkin etc stocked up. Probably best Whataburger in the state. Food is especially well made here.

Clean place, nice staff, great food! I got burgers and a shake. The strawberry shake was good and big. The fries and burgers were the best. I tried Whataburger more than a decade ago and I've always thought about visiting sometime. I was not disappointed. I wish there could be locations in more states. If you're passing by Albuquerque, you should try this location and don't forget to get spicy ketchup. ( I didn't take pictures of the meal because I ate it as soon as I got it )

This is my go to Whataburger when I’m in town. The service is always friendly and food comes out good. No complaints.

Best ran What-A-Burger ever! Idk what they're doing differently here but it's a huge contrast from every other one I've ever been to. I'm from Oklahoma, they're all slow. We call it What-A- Wait but this restaurant got our food out fast, hot, perfect! Very impressive! This crew should teach all the other restaurants how to do it. They've got it down to a science.

Probably the very best burger that I have had over the past 3 years. A must visit for burger lovers. Good service. Plenty of parking. Reasonable pricing.

Bomb location this crew pumped out 100 hamburgers, 6 gr chill/grill chesses an a large tea 😁 for me to feed my peeps at UPS! Fresh ingredient's, prompt on time, an will differently give them my business! Thanks guys 😁

Don't get around this part of town often enough and had time to stop in and pick up a old favorite yummy. Sure was good 😊

I had a double meat Whataburger add jalapeños, mayonnaise, and extra vegetables. The burger came out perfect and very tasty. I am from Texas so I have been a lifelong Whataburger patron. Some locations outside of Texas have not been up to standards, but this location delivered a perfect burger just like it was from the first location in Corpus Christi, Texas. I highly recommend this Whataburger location.

As long as you don't expect anything more from this place than a 24-hour fast food drive-thru you won't be disappointed. For a while they had a Dr Pepper milkshake which was amazing they've swapped that out now for a banana pudding milkshake which is just as good they have breakfast 24 hours they have Burgers 24 hours like I said 24 hours can't go wrong I personally prefer this to McDonald's

I downloaded the whataburger app and found a whole new world. I did NOT know you can make changes to your burger like grilled onions, grilled jalapenos, toasted bun etc. I customized my last order and Mmmmmm Mmmmm Mmmm it was sooooo good. We also ordered the burger box for New Years eve and my family was so impressed by even just the box, (i saved it for future family get togethers just to carry food in) lol it was awesome, 10 burgers with all the fixings there was even 4 whole tomatoes sliced up we all said whoooooaaaa look at thoose tomatoes when we opened the box. We just started using the curbside pickup option we or order from home jump in the car and our food is ready when we arrive. No more waiting in the long lines for us. We have found a new love for whataburger

Simply have to love the fact that I can come here all times of day, too get my burger fix!

How ironic that Whattaburger tastes better in NM than in TX. Being an In-n-Out guy, I usually skip Whatta because of the poor first tastes experiences in Houston, TX. Maybe it’s the removal or reduction of mustard in the formula but I am appreciating the larger patty with a small bit of chewing required and the good value.

Food was great , didn't shrink down like other places.

Good food just kinda slow services when u walk in but drive thru seems to go much quicker than walking into the lobby.....

Well I ordered a double Whataburger with cheese and green chili and I got a dry hamburger to Patty's some green chili no cheese no other kind of sauce or anything so no I would not recommend it to anybody sorry

Had lunch there yesterday meal was great but had to leave early since AC was very high it was freezing in there..

I am from California was taken there by my cousin for the first time. The experience was over and above fabulous. It started with A tall young black gentleman That took our order, he had a great attitude and gave superve guest service. Then I witnessed another young employee (gal) assist a elderly lady out to the car with her order, it was obvious the customer was elderly and needed help. The food mainly the hamburger was beyond great, I've never had such a great burger.

the what a burger on Carlisle in Albuquerque is my favorite, today they forgot my green chile and when I went back the manager made it right and clomped me a free burger, she was very apologetic

Best burger I have ever had. I am from Missouri and was in NM for a family death. I will definitely visit again.

Excellent burgers! Checkout line runs to close to sitting customers though.

We were a little over $2 short on our meal. The cashier was a sweet women and I really wish I could of gotten her name, she comped the $2 and gave us free fries. We had a crying newborn and have been very short on money lately and wanted a treat. Its the small things that count. Thank you. Always fresh tasty food!
