I love, love, love this place. The sushi is fresh. The portions are generous The nigiri pieces are like 2x the size of some other places, and the rolls are stuffed full. The vibe is mellow and inviting, the location perfect, and the prices are really reasonable. Eating there is a treat. And if you are having a party at home, consider the large sushi platter which is an amazing value. Thank you Crazy Fish! You all are amazing.

Ordered through DoorDash. It was ready quickly and the presentation was lovely. Serving sizes are very generous. A few things to note, since style varies so widely between sushi joints - the sashimi slices are served on a shredded vegetable of some kind, not on rice. Also, the cucumber salad is not marinated in traditional cucumber salad vinegarette. The seaweed on top is very heavily sauced, and has a strong fish taste, but other than that, the cucumbers are just plain sliced cucumbers. Overall it was good and a quick option for a hotel delivery order.

We stopped in at Crazy Fish for lunch while walking around the Knob Hill area. It looks unassuming and was surprisingly empty for lunch, but the sushi was great. The Small Happy Boat is a lot of food - enough for 2 to share unless you're starving! Everything was fresh and delicious. The waiter was attentive & friendly without hovering. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. I definitely recommend it!

Amazing little hidden gem in Albuquerque with a lot of sushi places to offer in Albuquerque. This is one of the best great staff great service clean restrooms, convenient free parking. Dozens of different types of sushi. Try the dragon rolls you won’t regret it.

Great quality and priced sushi along with pretty good service. A good number of their rolls have tempura for those who might be gluten-free.

Ordered different rolls and they each were marvelous! Especially the Lobster Dance Roll that has mounds of scallops and lobster pieces on top. The Dragon Roll, Crying Tiger Roll, Spider Roll, and Caterpillar Roll were filled with meat and great sauce. Service was very prompt and friendly and the place was clean and cozy. Great time!

I'm always on the hunt for good Japanese food whenever I travel somewhere. I am so happy I decided to stop here because everything was fantastic! The unagi on rice was delicious and so was the sashimi combo. Not only was the food great but the waitress I had was very nice. If I'm ever in Albuquerque again I will DEFINITELY be back!

Great place with a bit of everything we love. Sushi, Ramen, fried rice and noodles.... Great menu with reasonable prices. Service was wonderful and enjoyable staff. Watch for parking 🅿️ as there aren't many spaces in front of location.

I work in the area near the restaurant and the owner / chef Khit has always been a friendly face and offered us sushi. The sushi rolls he makes are beautiful and full of flavors 😋 you can tell he cares about the quality of the food and knows what he is doing. Definitely recommend this place for lunch with the sushi rolls. 🍣

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite sushi places.
The price is fair and the rolls are delicious.
What I like the most about this place is they don't cover every roll in sauce.
Other places, that are near by, good, and equivalent in price tend to be a bit more sauce heavy.
The only real complaint I have is that the sake menu, though solid, tends to be out of some options fairly often. BUT 7.50 hot sake is always a solid option.
I'll be back.

Crazy Fish is my favorite sushi restaurant in Albuquerque. The nigiri servings are very large. Quality fish, good service, and a fair price. I hope they reopen the sushi bar soon. I enjoy the interaction with the sushi chef. Best sushi that I’ve found in Albuquerque so far.

I discovered this place via a friend! She recommended this place and a few of us went here for lunch/dinner after work. I'd I remember correctly, I ordered the crunchy roll, and it was very yummy. The shrimp tempura was very good as well. Even had an order of their ice cream green tea mochi. Service was good.

What a pleasant surprise! Snob Hill, actually Knobb Hill, has lost the magic it once had. The ART bus program is responsible. Over the years, the once vibrant and bustling restaurant scene has dwindled, but Crazy Fish is a beacon of hope and great sushi for albuquerque.
Fantastic service, a welcoming vibe, attentive team members. Most importantly, the sushi chef makes phenomenal rolls, quality ingredients and made with skill.
This place even has kizame!!

Amazing sushi! Went here during lunch on Sunday, we had been craving sushi and this place had some of the best reviews. Now i know why, the service was fast and the server was friendly. They took our drink order right away and also brought out some hot miso soup. It had great flavor and was perfect as we waited for our food. We ordered the Dragon Roll, Crunchy Roll, and the Gold Dragon Roll. The Gold Dragon was a lobster salad, deep fried with salmon and eel sauce on top. This one was hot so it was a contrast to the other ones. My favorite was the Dragon roll which had the fillings of a California Roll w/eel, eel sauce and avocado on top. The crunchy roll was a safe choice and now that I know how good the others were I'm excited to try out some different sushi.
However and NOT on the restaurant but I have to say be careful of were you park in this area. If you can park right in front of it and have a line of sight from inside do it. We were inside the restaurant about 30 mins and at some point during that time my vehicle was vandalized it sucked that after some great food we came out to that.

More than just traditional sushi, with offerings of Bento boxes and noodles. Rolls were poorly rolled and fell apart super easy. The flavors were complimentary and some of the best veggie tempura Ive ever had. Ordered Gyoza though and it was burnt. Place was very busy but service was still speedy. Id like to go back and try something different.
