The food is so good that I would refer to the decor as retro, so they can keep putting their energy into great cuisine. The papaya salad had a nice touch of heat. The Pad Thai noodles were perfectly cooked, so often they are overdone and stick together.

One of my favorite places for Thai food since the first time I ate there back in 2003. I have never had bad service there and food has always been good. I especially have enjoyed the soups. You can usually get in and out of here pretty fast if you are on a short lunch.

A co-worker of mine recently suggested that I come in to Siam Cafe to try out one of her favorite Thai restaurants in Albuquerque. Situated in the west end of a shopping center on San Mateo Blvd and staring directly across the street at Cliffs amusement park. Siam Cafe can be a little difficult to notice from the road, but it is indeed there and has plenty to offer.
As I came in at around five o'clock on a Tuesday evening. I was immediately greeted by the server staff and told to seat myself where I liked. After glancing through the menu I decided to order the potstickers (my appetizer) and the #47 pad combination plate. Which was simply described on the menu as a a mixture of sautéd meats and vegetables served along with white rice.
The potstickers came out with reasonable speed. I found them to be surprisingly crunchy and generously portioned considering how little I paid for them. The pad combination plate was much the same. As the mixed veggies and meats came pilled together on one plate. While the steamed rice was served separately in a decorative bowl of some sort. A third plate is provided for you to combine everything into one heaping mess and dig in.
The meal was ultimately delicious and I couldn't get enough. My server even told me that he would relay my compliments to the cook. Apart from the food, the restaurant was well staffed, pristine, and even possessed a certain quaint charm about it. I owe my co-worker one for recommending this place to me and like her, I recommend you try out Siam Cafe as well. Especially if in the San Mateo and Academy area.

Hot and sour soup was so amazing. The fries tofu is a nice snack as well. I need to eat here more often.

This place by far has the best Thai food in Albuquerque. The staff and Owner are friendly awesome people. My absolute favorite is the Thai Red Curry with chicken. The portion size are a great value and flavors are just so deliciously well put together. Never had a bad experience here. Definitely go check it out if you haven't you don't want to miss out!!!

This place is delicious. I frequent Thai cuisine restaurants and this is among the best in Albuquerque. The food is very good and is competitively priced. The portions are also generous. Not only that, but when I go in they are always nice to me. They have a good system down for carryout. 10 out of 10 would recommend

Wow! Today will be the last day they are opened. Due to the pandemic and increasing overhead. They can no longer maintain their restaurant. So sad!!! The clientele and the neighborhood is saddened. This local and high quality restauran is the best! The food is every time consistently superb. They have been in this location for 27 years!!!!! Family owned. Ma abd PA with their children running the show.. such a wonderful family always making sure that we are enjoying ourselves. It is one of the best Thai restaurants in ABQ. Tops! And the prices are very reasonable. The ambiance and seating is very comfortable and love the booths! We will miss you!! And may the angels guide these wonderful people through your next endeavors!! ❤

I would give them a higher treating, except you have to give them your order at the counter and pay for it, then you go pick your table and in some cases the tables are not cleaned off very well, you wait on your order to be delivered to your table and "to go" containers and then you have to police up your own trash at the end of your meal and throw it in the garbage.
The food is very delicious and you get more than enough food for not just one meal but two per person but I don't give them five stars because of the self-service in a restaurant. That doesn't mean I still wouldn't suggest you go eat there because it's wonderful food! 😋😊

Authentic Thai food. As good as it gets in Albuquerque.

Visiting Albuquerque and this Thai food in the middle of the desert might be the best food in town. Ordered the red and green curry. I need to point out. I don't typically like curry. The red curry was flavorful and delicious. But the star of the show was the green curry.. all I can say is wow! Are here 3 days ago and have been dreaming of this stuff ever since. 100% delicious. I will for sure visit again. Also spoke to the owners family. Very nice people doing everything they can to stay alive during covid. I respect their efforts..

AMAZING and DELICIOUS Food!!! My best friend and I have driven by this place a million time and tonight we decided to stop in this evening for the first time. We order the Red Curry w/ Tofu and the Drunken Noodle with Tofu- let us just say: The food way beyond delicious and so full of flavor!!! I can’t wait to go back and try another plate of their menu! 10 STARS!!!!

We went there for lunch and got lunch specials. My wife ordered the drunken noodles and I got the panang curry. Both were excellent. Generous portions too: I could only eat about 2/3 of it and took the rest home. We went there at a busy time, so we did wait a bit to get drinks and then place our order. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for someone who wants some legit Thai food for lunch.

After hunting all over town for good Thai food, I found it! The curry is SO GOOD, and the egg rolls are the best I’ve had anywhere! Don’t waste your time and money ordering anywhere else. Siam Cafe is the best!

I returned to this restaurant after 7 years on a road trip. Same great delicious food that I used enjoy while I lived here. Anything you pick: Thai curry, entries or fried rice. Everything tastes best! This used to be our favorite Thai restaurant in Albuquerque. They are still maintaining the best tasty Thai food.
With COVID precautions, there is no personal service. But you can get the food, sit inside and enjoy eating.

This place is seriously the most amazing Thai food I've ever had. The Massaman Curry is to die for.
