Boxing Bear has to be my favorite brewery. Their atmosphere is amazing, service is fast and friendly, and the beer is aware winning. Every time I've been to boxing bear the bartenders and servers welcome us in with a smile and a warm greeting. My favorite beer is the Uppercut IPA, or seasonal Bear Knuckle which pairs great with their tasty sandwiches. As well, their atmosphere is hard to beat. They have a great patio that my boyfriend and I love bringing our dogs to. Their music is upbeat and never too loud, unlike other breweries, you can always have a conversation with the person next to you without having to yell.
Without a doubt I would recommend Boxing bear to all of my friends for a great New Mexico brewery experience.
This is absolutely the best place in ABQ in my opinion. The service is excellent and friendly every time, and the beer is great. They have a wonderful dog friendly patio that is spacious and comfortable. The only downer is that they don’t have heaters to enjoy the patio in the winter. It would be great to be able to bring our dogs year round, or simply have a large group at one of the enormous benches outside in the winter.
We got steak sandwich, chicken rice noodles bowl, and steak rice bowl.
The sandwich was really good, the rice bowl was great even though the meat was a bit tough to chew and it’s hard to eat it in a full-load bowl, maybe with a plate would be easier. The flavor of rice noodles was good, but too bad it was extremely salty.
Overall were good flavors and hopefully they will get better next time when we visit again.
Nice place. Good beer. Pets welcome. No food but food trucks are usually on site. They have q great selection of beer.
Perfect atmosphere to sit and enjoy a Beer. You can sit under the cottonwoods on the patio or inside has an Irish pub type vibe. Great selection of 10 pinball machines too. Friendly bartenders and decent beers make this a great place to bring some Bahn Mi from nextdoor and enjoy an afternoon!
Great local watering hole with a nice patio area. Highly recommend their Uppercut IPA and New MexiKolsch. You can bring your own food in or they often have a food truck available.
Boxing Bear Brewing Co is one of my FAVORITE breweries in Albuquerque! Their friendly staff and welcoming environment always feel comfortable, safe, and clean. Not to mention their top-notch selection of beers and food to keep you satisfied all night long. Support local!
Love this place! Great watering hole with excellent craft beer for the Corrales and west side community. Patio is the best especially in spring and summer; right on an acequia with a view of Sandia. Ride your bike here!
We've only been here twice and we love it. Beer is good, Staff are always very friendly and I always leave with a lot of to go beer and merch! It's a relaxing environment and we love going here when we pass through Albuquerque.

Came through here on a drive from Phoenix back home to the Chicago burbs about three weeks ago. We came in a little late, but the staff was more than gracious. The beer was super good and I loved the atmosphere. I promised that I'd take a picture of one of their stickers in front of the Sears Tower, so I'll update my review when I do that. We also got this super cool growler.
Found this hideaway. Great atmosphere inside and out. Wide selection of brews and very friendly staff.
