Stopped by at this location with wife after hiking knowing how great food at Garcias based on visiting other locations. This place didn’t disappoint. Waitress seemed to be overwhelmed due to staff shortage but handled us very well. Foos was prepared within reasonable time. Ordered Karnitas plate after trying it at other location but for some reason it came out to be way different, still good though. Nicely themed decor. ApplePay accepted
Ok it’s been a while but Garcia’s Kitchen on Juan Tabo is probably my favorite restaurant to eat at when I’m home, but all are good. Food is always amazing. It’s delicious and usually not a long wait for your food. I can’t recommend eating here enough. Friendly service and servers. Always refreshing your drink in a timely manner and polite. Greeting you from the door as soon as you walk in. Really a home feel to this place.
Now this is what I'm talking about! Amazing flour tortillas, Carnitas, and flautas. Very efficient/friendly waitress, quick, cute local atmosphere. Biscochitos were good, just not enough anise.
Our wedding caterer thought it was a different day. So two hours before dinner was supposed to start, we called and they came thru with the most amazing food. Thank you so much. I didn't have cash for a tip but I do pray you are all blessed a hundred fold.
Have been going here since I was a teenager, food is always on point! My favorite is the brisket taco plate!
Nice atmosphere. Fast and friendly services! Delicious entree!
Had a great breakfast at Garcia's on Juan Tabo blvd. Service was fast friendly and inviting. Food was prepared correctly, good portions and very tasty. The restaurant staff is awesome, they work well as a team. My drink was always being topped off.
Edited: A few of my friends recommended this place. I finally gave in to see the hype.
The staff members are nice and service was good. But the Menudo, Greasy Potatoes, Beans and Chili was not so great, maybe it was the no salt and no flavor in the Chili that made it unenjoyable. Even doctoring it up did no justice. However, on a good note we had good service, the Sopapilla was my favorite and there were a lot of Tripe in the Menudo.
Garcia's Kitchen is a great Mexican/New Mexican restaurant. The food is always good here no matter what you order. The servers are always friendly, waiting to help in whatever manner they can. The restaurant is usually clean, neat and well laid out.
The food always comes out exactly as odered, piping hot, delicious and mouth-watering.
I would recommend Garcia's to anyone and everyone.
PS. Google doesn't know the difference between chili and chile. For those that don't know...chili is a tomato based dish with beans and many times, also meat. Chile is a pod, a type of 'fruit' with heat used in New Mexican cuisine, very different from Mexican cuisine.
Although our server might have been new, she still did an admirable job given how busy they were. Though my husband noticed multiple times she was just standing waiting for food orders when other tables needed attending (he used to be a server and he's the one who said "she must be new" and yes. I still tipped the minimum 18% actually with rounding I think i did 20%). That said, for some reason at this location the food was simply PHENOMENAL! Like, I'm used to good or even very good at Garcia's, but WOW! EVERYTHING on my plate was just perfection. Husband thought it needed more salt, but that's what salt shakers are for. For me it was heavenly. I will ABSOLUTELY be back!
