Went to Garcias with husband and 2 teenagers on a Saturday eve after the twinkle light parade. We were all hungry, and voted on a hardy meal from Garcia's. We were not disappointed! The kids don't always like to have chile on top of their meal, and unlike some other New Mexican restaurants, their "naked" food was still delicious! The red chile is always yummy, with a roasted flavor and some heat to it. Our favorite flat, red, chicken enchilada plates were made even better with an egg on top! Papas instead of rice are usually a hit but tonight they were a little too greasy. Sopas were excellent as usual - served hot, puffy and the dough slightly sweetened, perfect for scooping up the last bit of red chile or enjoy them with Garcias famous sopaipilla sauce! Yummmm! Service was prompt and friendly. Dinner for 4 with drinks & queso/chips was $49.00. A family favorite!

Yummy food, reasonably priced & nice waitress! I was missing something from my plate, the waitress apologized & I got a discount! Very nice! Highly recommend!

Came here at the urging of a fb group from New Mexico. Let me say that the only thing that disappointed me was the hot sauce and chips. Maybe it's not a popular thing in NM but it is in Texas and usually bad chips and hot sauce sets the tone for the rest of the meal. However, in this case it was not true. I got the green chile stew and it was really good. Just a hint of heat. It came with a very large homemade flour tortilla that was fresh and delicious. My hubs got the green chile burger and he enjoyed it (he's the picky one)! My child ordered some pancakes and bacon and they were fun shaped and cooked well. All and all it was a good dining experience but I wasn't blown away. Service was great and atmosphere was nostalgic on route 66. Have to try a few other recommendations and compare but so far so good 👍

Long-time local restaurant showing its age but food was good and service was quick and friendly. We had the enchiladas and the stuffed sopapilla. Food was delivered quickly and was good and hot. Had a good meal but not something you'd necessarily rave about.

One of the original New Mexican favorites for families who enjoy authentic flavors and excellent service. I really enjoyed the burrito with the red sauce and OMG the chicharrón in the beans was a surprise in my palette. The carnitas tacos had shredded carnitas and fresh lettuce with a pico de gallo, plus the bathrooms were super clean. Conveniently next to the bus stops that you usually ride and there is also curbside pick up available for those who want to take it home. Thanks Garcia's Kitchen and team. Happy holidays 😇

Visiting from UK. Authentic, local restaurant. Recommended by a local resident. Extensive menu. Hard to choose. Delicious green chilli Stew. Chicken Burrito was large, generous portion but average in taste. My refried beans were forgotten. Great service. Recommended.

We ordered handheld burritos to go. My goodness, it was delicious. Order placed by phone as online ordering does not allow for use of the gift card. Everything was ready to go and using the gift card inside the restaurant was hassle free.

First eating spot for my New Mexico trip! Rich flavors, quick service! I could die eating sopapillas. The food was delicious and it seemed authentic. For someone starting to explore the culture of the south do the United States a must stop! They sell salsas and other good things to take home! I absolutely would recommend that anyone stops here if around!

When we walked in, the workers that seat you, were grumpy no smiles and dirty looks. I spoke to the manager. She was understanding and apologized, after speaking to them, they seemed friendlier. Gracia's usually is friendly with a good atmosphere, I was surprised. The food was was good. The manager was A+
