We came here as a second choice after a funeral. They said they could accommodate our group size. We sat for an extremely long time just waiting for service. We ordered and waited a long time for our food. This place came highly recommended for lunch and while I understand breakfast is a new thing, I wasn’t impressed. I ordered a Philly Steak Omelet and I’m not sure why it came out with everything on top when it’s an omelet. Most of the food actually came out pretty cold. Our server was great once she started but the kitchen seemed to be real slow. I’d give it a chance for lunch but I don’t know if I’d return for breakfast.

Here’s my reply to owners response: so it took the server 3 minutes to put the order in, that’s fine. But still 7:56 minus 7:16 is 40 minutes not 30 minutes. We usually are very understanding when it comes to waiting, the problem we had was the fact that your waitress walked to our side of the restaurant 3 separate times and did not offer to say anything to us. Placed our order at 7:13. It’s now 7:56 the server never came back, never brought our side salad, so after approximately 45 minutes an no food we walked out. Mind you there were less than 30 customers in the entire restaurant, half of which were already eating when we walked in. Not sure what the issue is here but clearly management needs a wake up call.

My sister and I stopped here for lunch our server was outstanding but my sister ordered a salad and it was missing ingredients so she said she didn’t want it! When my Gumbo came out at the end of my meal I didn’t want it! We were advised that we would be charge for the food they had taken off our table because the cost of food was to high! We never ate any of the food and they took the food away so I didn’t understand why we were being charged food we didn’t eat or keep? I feel like the manager was treating us like that because we are black! I refuse to pay for food not eaten but I paid for everything else and a to go order! I had never experienced anything like this!
