I was first introduced to Michele's Charcoal Pit years ago in downtown Albany near the Capitol building. It was the perfect place to grab a hotdog & cheese fries and eat in the park. My parents ordered Michele's Charcoal Pit for my college graduation party back in 2013 - everyone loved it. A week ago Michele returned for my father's 60th birthday - everyone loved it. The menu catered to all diets (beef, pork, chicken and a portabella mushroom). Michele and Erin arrived early to set up and parked right in our driveway. When it was time to eat the guests of the party were impressed with how quickly they received what they ordered and how yummy it was. The guests enjoyed the "made to order" idea with the truck and the menu selection. One great thing with hiring Michele's Charcoal Pit is the fact that there is absolutely no cleanup at the end of the night. Why order a platter of deli meat when you can have a delicious meal with cheese fries on the side?

We had Michele's Charcoal Pit for my father's 60th birthday party a week ago. I cannot offer praise that is high enough. From the outset a sample menu was provided and Michele was able to accommodate every menu change we asked for. On the day of the event she arrived early and was up and running before our official start time. The guests enjoyed all the choices and everyone enjoyed not needing to worry about cleanup. I would recommend Michele's Charcoal Pit to anyone looking for something a bit more exciting than trays of pasta and hot dogs.
