La Loma

Really good food and service! We went for lunch and it was a great experience. Everything we ordered came out quickly and correctly. The food was really tasty and portion sizes were generous. They have many vegetarian options. The service was fantastic, our waiter was always making sure our drinks were filled and checked on us often. They have a lot of seating too. Will definitely go back!

This place is just as great as the steels corners location! Just an excellent menu, with a lot of variations that differentiate it from other local Mexican places. The staff was super nice, and very easy to communicate with which sometimes can be a challenge. Looks like they have a party room which is a bonus for companies or church groups.

Typical--nothing drastically different from the restaurants we frequent in North Alabama. Enjoyed the multi-colored tostitos. The only super KUDOS I can give is to the sopapillas and ice cream----off the chain! Even though the hostess seemed to have no idea what I was ordering. Nice and clean location. Would definitely eat there again.

I got the super burrito: one with chicken and the other with steak. I specifically asked for no dairy twice to ensure nothing was put on. The waiter didn't acknowledge this and brought it out loaded with cheese and sour cream. After the fix, the next entree was soggy. Perhaps a bad night? I am willing try another plate but my first experience wasn't the best at all. EDIT: The following week or so I came back to this establishment and things panned out much better. The service was substantially better, the servers seemed to be on top of things, and it was much more busy than my previous visit. I ordered one of their more popular dishes which was better quality than my first plate from my previous experience but overall was still a bit of a let down. The food was flavorful but the meal itself felt like a slightly better Chipotle. Unless this is a family favorite or you are craving Mexican food in the area (the next closest location I believe is a 20 minute drive), I personally wouldn't say it's a "must experience" place but I do appreciate the step up from my last dine-in.
