The food was good but the portion was small for paying $17.00 for combo fajitas I expected to take some home like i do with other restaurants, only gave me 2 tortillas. I woke up extremely sick this morning and I'm afraid that is the only place I ate yesterday. Waitress was nice and helpful no other complaints except I'm very sick to my stomach today.

I really don’t like to complain about restaurants and cooking but I will tonight. I haven’t gotten this mad in a long time. We went to the Santa Fe restaurant in Ada and sat there for an hour before being placed at a table. it’s a busy night. We had 11 people, 4 being little kids. So several 6 and under parties were sat down before us. Understandable right? At last we get a table. Waiter was very good. Never ran out of drinks but here’s what I’m mad about. After waiting another hour for food. Yes we ordered steaks, shrimp, ribs combos. We expected some wait. Kids ordered cheeseburgers. Only 3 plates show up. Medium well steak is rare, broccoli looks like it was just taken out of icebox, not cooked. Cold mashed potatoes with gravy. 3 plates out of 11. 20 minutes later, 4 more plates show up. Medium rare steak is burned, no potatoes with gravy, fried potatoes are greasy and cold, coleslaw is warmer than any other food and it’s not supposed to be. Ribs tasted like they’d been put in microwave for about a minute and then put on plate. Now we still have 4 kids with no food. 10 minutes, 3 cheeseburgers arrive. Cheese burned to a crisp and buns are burned and tough. Oh wait 1 kid still hasn’t gotten food. 10 more minutes, here his food comes. So let’s see we started this around 6 pm. And walked out at 9 pm. That was the nastiest food I have ever tried to eat. We’ve tried it before and it was good. I’m not saying it was a off night but when the waiter keeps apologizing, saying “it’s been a bad night” “that we weren’t the only ones done that way”. I asked to talk to manager, he was cooking. I talked to him. After bill came, I decided to talk to him again. Waitress asked me which manager I talked with. Ok you got 2? I really don’t think they knew who was managing tonight. Still cost us $158 and that was “discounted”. It’s pretty bad food when we don’t even get a doggie bag. My granddaughter took 3 bites of her cheeseburger and thought she chipped a tooth. Nobody finished their plate. Everything was cold and nasty. Waiter handed one plate down and said to watch it because it was so “hot”. It wasn’t even warm. PS I guess we should of looked toward kitchen before eating.

here on business at Hospital, from San Antonio, TX. Place is right next to hotel (10% discount w/key). The Blacken Sirlon Steak was good, could ofnuse some blue cheese, had it with Italian dressing. Also had the southwest soup (which that blew me away, it was very good). As for the rolls, it was ok, we did get two rolls that was not finish baking for some reason. Area was good, server was ok. she did have a busy section and was able to check up on us several times. In all would come bk to visit.

Oh my Word where do I start?? We arrived at 5 p.m. and they were already fairly busy. We had a party of 8 but they let us know it would be a bit because of a couple of other bigger parties had reserved tables and they were waiting on them which we understood. The 2 ladies at the front were so nice and cool about it and then they asked if the Patio would be okay and it was decent enough outside it was alright. We had been in our food truck all day cooking so just sitting down was okay with us. I did ask for their most "hateful waiter or waitress" just playing as we are in the service industry and let me tell you they did not disappoint at all. We were seated outside and they promised they wouldn't forget us and that our waiter had a few tables and would be with us. The young lady which I didn't catch her name got us seated and immediately they brought us out some fresh rolls and got our drinks started. Then our actual waiter Elliot joined us and being in the service industry and what it has turned out to be there are still people who care out there. He never forgot about us since we were outside and would let us know where our order was and we honestly didn't wait that long for our food. He joked and laughed with our kids and shared a little about himself and I think we may have adopted him and that is fine with us. The hostesses and even another employee who may have been kitchen support staff were so nice and checked on us and greeted us. It was such a pleasant experience which has been rare lately. Santa Fe should be proud of this establishment and the food was hot and all cooked perfect since almost everyone got steak and no complaints from my picky little family. And the rolls were all piping hot every time. Thank you Elliot and ladies for a great time and meal. The Dessert was also divine. We will be back for sure when we are in the area again.
