What a find! Stopped in for hot coffee and late breakfast. Just passing through the area on our motorcycle, and needed a warm up. Fantastic coffee, quite a few hot drink options, and beautiful super fresh breakfast options, even after noon on a weekday. We opted for the goat cheese and scallion scramble and the Roma egg’s Benedict. Everything was superb. Also, good vibes, art, and music.

Paid 13 for a Philly cheese steak burrito, so small and bland. If someone told me it came from a convenient store, I would have believed them. Service was fine, speed was ok. I did like the atmosphere.

Overall the coffee is good, and the food is fresh. But please up your home fry game. Very little seasoning. Either look like they have been sitting in the fridge for 5 days or burnt to crisp on the grill. No in between. I thought I cracked my tooth on one. Been eating there for 5 years and the home fries have never gotten better. Pic of the home fries is on a busy Saturday morning. You’d think you’d throw a fresh batch in the oven that morning to satisfy the wave for the morning.

A great place for breakfast with a good sized menu and some delicious selections. The service was fast and friendly and the place is very accommodating for families. An easy stop for coffee only or for a more leisurely breakfast. They also have sandwich offerings for lunch which are tasty with quality ingredients. This is an great choice in the area for breakfast and lunch.

Paid over $10 for a single egg and cheese sandwich, 30 minutes go by it's not ready yet. Turns out they had made it and just didn't give it to me. 3 stars because the sandwich was quite good and I believe they may have been short staffed at the time. I never expected an egg n cheese to financially ruin me

I love this place for the food, coffee and atmosphere, but they really need to consider turning off online ordering or have a better production line system. I completely understand the Sunday rush, but waiting an hour and a half for 2 cold brews is a lot…the app says an hour wait, Ok I get it I signed up for that but adding another half hour for direct poured coffee. I’m sorry, but if its that busy hire more people or turn off online ordering. (And c’mon…it’s not that people don’t want to work) Also I want to add, in a lot of your responses you encourage online ordering. I think you need to rethink that. People are returning full force to order in person, and your staff does not have the capacity to keep up with online order rushes and bussing to the front table. They’re paying more attention to the in person orders. It turns out our coffee was 35 minutes over the already 1 hour “quoted” wait because nobody bussed our coffees to the pickup table. We had to wait in the regular indoor line of 10 people to ask and our coffees were melted and sitting in the back. Get a better pick up system like your Groton location if you’re going to push online ordering, or turn it off during rushhour. You are not starbucks, and even starbucks turns off their online ordering when they’re overrun.

I will be back again for sure! The highly recommended Ranchero breakfast sandwich from the Blackbird Cafe in Acton, MA. Right off the bat, the grilled tuscan bread brings so much.. The egg and veggie is choice (especially those fresh red onions!) The bacon is high grade and thick cut. Together with the cheese... magic. Perfectly accompanied by a double cappuccino from their coffee bar. PRO TIP: After I got there I realized you can order in advance online.

I love Blackbird Cafe's original location in Groton, MA so I was ecstatic when they opened this new location in Acton. The food is delicious. Service can be a bit slow at this location, especially on the weekends during peak hours, but there is ample seating inside and even a couple of outdoor tables.
