I don't have any complaints about the doughnuts because they are always good. My complaint is that the people they have working there on a Sunday don't care what you ordered. I ask for 2 maple long John's and get 2 chocolate instead. I ask for half and half of plain glazed and frosted glazed doughnuts out of a dozen and I end up getting 3 frosted and the rest plain. I just don't get.

The Donut Palace has "the best donuts in the world, according to my grandchildren. We used to stop on our way from Manhattan to Salina to visit Great Grandma. It is always a special treat, so sometimes we just make the trip for donuts now.

Delicious very delicious pastries, biscuits and gravy, sizable selection of choices of donuts to pick from . Won't find a better place in town. A must try while in Abilene.
