Bush's Chicken

When I saw that Bush's Chicken was coming in next door to the Chicken Express, months after Raising Cain's had just opened, I said sarcastically, "ANOTHER chicken place? Just what Abilene needs..." After they've had some time to settle in and get their bearings, I figured I might as well give them a chance. And I'm glad I did! Bush's doesn't have anything extraordinary going for them, like Cain's sauce... They're essentially just like their immediate neighbor and just like Golden Chick. The only two things they've got going for them is their pricing specials, and the speed of delivery. Every Tuesday 16 pcs tenders with rolls and gravy for $11($13 in some regions). Tea is $0.69. They have coupons regularly where the meal is ~50% off... That's awesome! And the service is very fast! They bring it to you (take note everyone else!), and you won't wait more than a few minutes after getting your self-serve drink. Definitely makes for a fast and cheap lunch. Quality of the food (tenders and fries this go-around) was on part with Chicken Express and Golden Chick, with a slightly crisper breading. Fries are crinkle cut... decent and hot. I did miss a good spicy seasoning as their "serendipity sprinkle" is onion and garlic based. I'll be back to try other menu items such as the sides and other chicken offerings. Where do I begin all the food and I mean all the food is great and on point, I eat there at least three times a week. And all the staff is very friendly and always ask if the food is good and if we need anything. if you never ate there then you don't know what your missing and great prices I promise. and you can even have grilled chicken if you're on a diet what.

Manager Eddie is unprofessional. My little sister used to work there, as well as a bunch of minors that attend school, and they're made to stay until 11ish on school nights. He doesn't work well with school kid's schedules, and fired her because we told him she would be moving in 3/4 months. I know she doesn't show up late because I'm her transportation and she has been working every single day- no days off AT ALL- to help them out because they're short staffed for about 2 months. That is a whole lot on a 16y/o. As far as their food goes, it is nothing special, tastes just like Chicken Express. Their rolls are delish, shame we won't be going there anymore.

Had lunch today 3 tender meal pd $6.48 for 3very small tenders, it's what you would find in a kids meal when i asked about it the cashier just walked off. Ever since the two mangers left that opened this one its nit worth coming anymore. Top all this last week i found a piece of hair in the ice cream the manager she just said thats not mine.
