This is a great family restaurant. I met some friends here and my kids were kind of loud, but they put us off into a room to the side and we enjoyed ourselves fully. The wait staff was very attentive and polite, took care of our drink needs before we even realized we were low, and constantly tried to be there for us throughout the night, without hovering too much. It's difficult for parents with a lot of kids to unwind then have a nice evening at a restaurant. And this was truly a place where we were able to do that.
This was my first time there. It brought me back to restaurants of 30 years ago where everyone that works there is super friendly and actually act like they like their jobs, they like their customers, and they really want you to have a good experience. The food was amazing and the prices are great. I will definitely come back again.
Sisco Chicken...OMGosh! Try it. So good! Courteous, fast, friendly service. Large selection of menu items. Delicious food, large portions. I regret not getting dessert, but there's always next time.
This place has an old-timey feel that I loved. It was expressed throughout the restaurant.
The service is great. Not once did my cup of coffee go empty. Our waitress was always checking up on our party making sure everything was okay.
Of course the food was amazing!
Bonus: The hostess spoke Spanish, which I think is important because it helps Spanish speaking customers feel a little more at home.
Very nice place! Very good southern style food, but it had a good variety of cuisine which was very nice. Lots of choices, not to mention when you get your food you get lots of it! I got the shrimp and grits, my wife had their grilled chicken with bbq sauce. The sauce was so good she wanted to buy it off of them! Mudslide cake dessert? Thumbs up!
This is a wonderful little country town restaurant! The staff is very friendly and spot on as far as service goes. My drink may have had 3 sips out of it at most before someone came by to top it off. Their breakfast and lunch here are fantastic! Be sure to stop through and support these guys if you’re in the area!
Good food. The breakfast buffet was really good. I’m sad that it’s closed now. The omelettes are good. Make sure you’re prepared to wait at least 20 minutes when you come on the weekend.
