We ate at Captain D’s in Zachary for lunch today. There was no location to check in with Facebook.
The captain d’s sauce was impressive. Ketchup mayo creole mustard kind of taste. The cocktail sauce tasted very packaged.
The fried okra weren’t as fresh as they could have been. The green beans were very flavorful. A briny porky profile.
The fish was perfectly cooked, but the batter was a little thick and oily. The hush puppies had a great flavor but slightly oily as well.
The manager was very nice, and the orders seemed to be prepared fresh. She delivered our food to the table, and refreshed our drinks. Great service is not what I’m used to, even at other higher priced establishments.

Not being familiar with this food chain, I was a little leery,,but was very happy with my choice! I ordered the fish platter to share,,and was plenty enough! Not to mention it cost $13 to feed two people,,( no drinks ) we already had drinks..Everything was extremely Good..

My daughter and i ate at Captain D's last night for the first time. The service and the food was great!. We enjoyed the view and the atmosphere there. The people that work there are very nice and friendly. It was our first time eating there and it won't be our last. Lord say the same. 👍👍👍👍👍😊

Very clean friendly. You think fast food, but nothing like it. You walk in order. You get # go to your seat... They bring you your food in an actual plate! I had the lemon pepper white fish, broccoli, and corn on the cob. With drink...$9 with tax
Some one checked on me more than once. Even refilled my drink.

I heard this restaurant due to receiving a plate from a good friend. I was skeptical about fast food fried fish, since it can be commercial, but I enjoyed the batter of the fish. I went there today and had a good deal on a kids meal, which was 99 cents. I lucked out on that deal.

I tried to like this place. the corn is the only thing i can say is good.. everyone's taste buds are different so try it for yourself.. they just need more seasoning!!!

I've been to Captain D's 3 times since it has opened and I've received great service EVERY TIME! The staff brings your food to your table, if you need anything they will get it for you. They staff is VERY friendly and nice. I definitely will be going back!
