Excellent Mexican food. Just one observation tho. I ordered 3 taquitos for $3.45 (Great price and great tasting taquitos) however I ordered them with cheese and guacamole only. 1 tablespoon of cheese 75¢ and 1 tablespoon of guacamole is $1.99. This brings my total to $6.19. I just thought that was a lot for 3 taquitos. I would give a 5+ otherwise.

My first and last time here. Service was okay but food took 15 minutes and was empty. The enchiladas plate was canned sauce not homemade. Carne asada burrito the meat was recook & tasteless. The guacamole inside burrito was watery. Just bad I’m sorry to say. My boy wanted some menudo. Well it was at lest homemade but they went heavy on some sort of hot sauce. Like tapatio or Chile de amor. Price well it was 32 bucks with two horchatas no fee refills.

Great rolled tacos! They have both corn and flour, which are called "Sonoran." You can get bean and cheese Sonoran tacos. If you've never had a bean and cheese rolled taco you will love them. The basics here like beans, rice, tortillas and salsa are what really earn 4-stars. If you need fancy ambiance you should probably look for another restaurant. As of November, dine in is available again.

After recommendations from a local latino, we tried Taco Salsa in Yuma. Authentic Mexican it is advertised as. We were wanting Tex Mex but our Latino buddy explained that being so close to the Mexican border, the Mexican Resturants must cater to authentic Mexican food. Bummer! My wife likes enchiladas with a Chile meat sauce. I ordered the Sanoran tacos (whatever they are), Chimichanga and a combo plate to taste a variety of items at our first encounter to this newly discovered restaurant. My wife really enjoyed the enchiladas with some enchiladea sauce. They didn't have a meat sauce but never the less, she downed the enchiladas. The rice and beans in my combo plate wasn't a 5 star selection but the chimichanga was GOOD! Lots of meat and flavorful. Two thumbs up. The first ever sight of the Sanoran Tacos had me wondering whether it was yay or nay. It was deep fried which I really like. It reminded me of the boxed Taquitos in the frozen section at Wal-Mart. Larger and full of meat with that crunchiness from deep frying. It was layered in cheese. Yum! Two thumbs up! We returned two days later and this time I ordered a dozen Sanoran Tacos which cost $13.00 and change This time there were no cheese but I still managed to made a pig of myself! I dislike trying new eateries as many are only so so and I hate wasting my money on new unproven food establishments. However, we will be returning to Taco Salsa when we are in Yuma. I now have a favorite Mex food hangout in Yuma! Yum! However, please put a table outside so we can enjoy it there. Yum!!!
