If you are tired and don’t know where to go after your heavy hike at Joshua Tree park, this friendly warm dining is your place to go. I like the American atmosphere and design a lot. The manager was really welcoming and friendly, we were a large group but they nicely host us very well.

A must stop at this quaint town that feels like time has not passed since the 1970’s. Excellent home feels, they know their locals by first name basis.
Breakfast and lunch items served all day! Restaurant open early in the morning too. Apparently the diner is being ran by new management, and from w
Absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere and the people were great! We are so happy we found it on our drive to the Joshua Tree National Park. This is a must stop for anyone. I ordered the '57 Chevy Bel-Air burger and it was phenomenal! My husband got the Route 62 burger and loved it as well! Not
We were visiting nearby in Joshua Tree and stopped in for lunch at 11:30 but they were serving breakfast only and no lunch till 1:00pm. That was disaponting because the smoker outside was churning and it smelled so good! So...we left but said we are coming back for dinner and am I glad we did!

Great food, great service, great food, great value for money.
Carla's was an oasis on our California trip for breakfast, food and portions where Goldilocks - just right.
Plus the added bonus of looking just how us foreigners expect a Diner to be.
Forget route 66 - route 62 and Carla's is the place t
I love the aesthetic of this diner! Waitress was so sweet and the food was devoured by my husband and me😂 definitely a good stop! Got two delicious burgers, fries, and drinks for less than $20! We’ve been in the desert for two years while my husband is stationed here and finally decided to try this
Great atmosphere and delicious Buckwheat pancakes with a delightful Topping of blueberries! Attentive staff and fast service!
Atmosphere's as classic as it gets . Great staff, awesome place to have breakfast ;) I think they should have a larger sign that is easily visible to drivers along the main road. That sure helps!
Great 50s style diner! The huevos rancheros were excellent and so was the omelet! A great place for breakfast on the way to Joshua Tree!
this place feels like home. Their rye bread is so delicious! They have everything you could want on their menu. Their coffee is fresh and always brewing. I’ll be stopping by every time I visit Joshua tree.
Wonderful and awesome place to enjoy good food and good times with all the staff, love this place!!!
Diner 62 is a wonderful addition to the desert food scene. We are thirsty for quality food and 62 delivers. Everything we have had off of the smoker/grill has been great. Lots of flavor and fresh ingredients, well seasoned. Salad was fresh and there are some great dressing options. Menu, ingredients
Today was my first visit after moving to the area. I was more than happy with the food and quantity. The point I wanted to make was there was a glitch on the timing of my meat selection coming off the smoker and was going to run long- no biggie. My son owns a well known BBQ establishment in Or and o
Great food in a old school and nostalgic setting with extremely nice staff. Thank you for the experience !
The food was great! My grandson had the short ribs and fries, husband had pulled pork sandwich and potato salad and I had smoked chicken soap. All of it was wonderful! The staff was very friendly. I don't know why I waited so long to go, but I will definitely be back!
Stopped in for dinner after a drive through the park on a Sunday evening. The staff was delightful, answered all our questions, and made a delicious vegan friendly recommendation for my meal. If the oyster mushroom tacos are available when you visit, don’t hesitate. :) Our burger was perfectly cooke
