Feeding two teenagers at Clarkies was interesting to watch their react to the food. Their first words, "wow, this cinnamon strudel muffin tasted amazingly good! They also shared that their eggs are real and the pancakes and french toast is are so filling! A lot of food for the price. Service was very pleasant, fast and helpful. Love the ambiance as well! Highly recommend this place for breakfast. Haven't tried lunch yet - can't wait to do that next time!
My absolute hands down favorite breakfast place! I always get the California omelet with a side of fruit and gluten free toast. My one son gets the gluten free French toast and my other son gets the pancakes. I love that they carry gluten free bread so my one son doesn't feel different. But for those without dietary restrictions, their Cinnamon Streusel ( or whatever it is called) is absolutely amazing. Nearly everyone I know raves about it and it does taste wonderful. For regulars like us, the staff remembers you and when one young man is working, he knows what we drink and has it waiting at the table by the time we are seated. Only complaint is parking, but not impossible. I just try to get there before the weekend breakfast rush. 😁

Reminiscent of a good ole' diner from the pre-2000s. The coffee cup was never more than half-empty as an endless stream of refills kept coming. Enough food on the plate to keep your belly full until bedtime.
The standout item to me was the Cinnamon Streusel Muffin which is included as a side item on the breakfast combos. Don't come here and pass it up! The batter for the chicken fried steak was also very good.
Wife and I love coming to Clarkie's Parking lot can get packed, and there is usually a 20-30 minute wait. But it is worth the wait. Staff is always friendly and portions are plentiful. Love their cinnamon streusel muffin, fluffy and moist.
On the way out of California the Fool's Errand made a stop at Clarkie's; this place will truly be missed. It is a fantastic eatery and you simply have to get a cinnamon pastry...can you say melted butter? They stay very busy; well worth the wait.

4 stars just for the cinnamon buttermilk muffins alone. 5 stars if they had some mascarpone in it. I had soup n salad, pretty good. If i am out this way and hungry, I will stop.
This Place is an absolute Treasure!! If you have not had the great pleasure of dining here you are missing out. Right off the 10 FWY in Yucaipa/Calimesa, you can't miss it. The staff is so friendly and wonderful. Thanks to Millie and Chris who made our return visit a treat. Even the guests who are here are cordial and kind. The Food is outstanding!! Look at our Pics. First time diner. Came for cinnamon streusel muffin. It was so good. Ordered egg white, turkey sausage, spinach omelet, with side of fruit. Served hot. Very satisfying. Outstanding service. Cheers to the cooks and servers.
