The best part of Youngstown. All of the trails offer something different. Parking is always easy and the facilities are great to rent for events. Make sure to check out the mill if it's open, the staff is very knowledgeable and loves discussing Valley history. I often bring my students for field trips to the mill and rose garden, our scout troop has gone hiking and canoeing in the lake, and my favorite picnic spot is in the wetlands.
Had one of the best days here, the only problem was that we didn’t have enough time to keep exploring. The trail we walked on was well maintained and beautiful, definitely going to try and explore more of this place 5stars for now :)
This is a great park for golfing, biking, hiking, walking, sightseeing, boating, and so much more. It's a a good place for children, picnics, wedding pictures, and they have several buildings that can be rented for special occasions.
Beautiful park with breathtaking scenery. There are a variety of trail to choose from. Clean public restrooms. The park is well maintained. Always leave nothing behind and take great memories with you when you leave.
Mill Creek Park is the hidden gem of Youngstown, OH and the surrounding area. There are so many areas to explore, and explore, and explore. Today my wife and I just met up with one of our daughters to have a picnic lunch at the Rose Garden. Even though the rises have not bloomed yet, the were all kinds of other day Springtime flowers in bloom.

Beautiful, Historic, Relaxing. Fun for the whole family.
The park is huge with lots attractions and very well kept! I can’t decide which I like best: the botanical gardens, archeological bridges, the lily pod pond where you can almost touch the turtles, the trails, etc. It’s very peaceful and pleasant!
