Venice Pizzeria

My boss had told me about this good pizza joint while doing a delivery route out this way. We stopped by for lunch before leaving, and it was pretty solid. Thin and crispy slices with nice flavor, I’ll definitely stop by on occasion when I’m out that way!

Finally found a go-to place for chicken riggies! They are generous with the contents. It's not just mostly pasta like some places, and the flavor and sauce consistency is very good. I thought it looked like it had little meatballs all over it, until I realized they were nice little whole button mushrooms. The full order is enough for 2 people. I weighed it when I got home before I dug in. It was over 3 lbs! I got a "mini" sub too, and when they handed it to me, I thought it was a mistake, because there was nothing "mini" about it (see picture) and it weighed about a pound and a half. I sampled it - pretty good, too! I had a slice while waiting for the to go items. Very nice crust texture and thinness, but a little salty. But I tend to be a little more salt sensitive than the average Joe. I would like to be able to taste a little more tomato sauce flavor with it. Very nice people at the counter, clean place, and you can dine in or run in for take out without coming out smelling like a dirty old pizza oven like some places. Looks like a very nice, big, separate but attached bar on the other side, which is new. I would definitely visit this place again. Great value for the money.
