We were so excited to try this place for some authentic fish and chips - but we were disappointed. The chips were unseasoned (to be fair you can add vinegar if you'd like) and some were uncooked. A raw hunk of potato - not cool. We both tried the cod plate - the piece of cod was large and looked good, but looks are deceiving. There was no seasoning and the batter was so thick that there was a gooey, messy, uncooked layer in with the fish where it just wasn't cooked. Luckily we also got a shrimp taco with the curry sauce and that was so good! That was the only thing that kept me from a 1-star rating. Maybe the seasoning is just the way they cook it, but the uncooked batter and fries - that has nothing to do with taste buds. Sadly, I don't recommend this place. Hopefully we just caught them on an off day, but we won't be returning. 40 bucks for 2 fish and chips and a fish taco? I expected better quality food.

Was excited to try this place, and I really wanted to like it, but it just wasn't very good. You definitely get a large portion of food for the price, but the quality isn't great. My partner got the cod and I got flounder (I think), but there was barely any difference in taste between the two white fish. All you could taste was the thick, flavorless, heavy batter, which was caked on and formed a hard shell around the meat. Fries were nothing special (a lot of them were burnt). Coleslaw was very mayo-heavy. Nothing really stood out or made me want to come back. Edit: since a ton of the reviews compare these to fish and chips they had in the UK, I would like to add that these were NOTHING like any fish and chips I had in the UK, I only *wish* I could find a place like that on the peninsula.

If I could do zero stars I would. It was 33 bucks for cod fish and chips a burger and 2 cans of soda. The fish had no seasoning or flavor the chips were oily and had no salt. The burger was like mystery meat. I don’t know how this place has 4 stars

Great little place to get a huge servings. I got the Haddock and chips....really great, huge fillet and generous portion of fries My wife got the cod and chips......she really liked it, two huge portions of cod and a generous portion of fries My son got the fish fingers.....he enjoyed the meal generous portion of each fish fingers and fries All three meals came with a side of Cole slaw as well.....perfectly balanced between sweet and bitter. My only gripe was that the fries could use some type of seasoning besides salt.

Really tasty place. The sauce is awsome for the fish tacos but the size can vary. Once I had a nice sized fish in my taco but today I got a taco and the fish was super skinny. :/ The photo shown is a peice I got

The place is cozy. The main eating area near the fryers was warm but the area off the main eating area was unheated and chilly. The metal chairs and tables did not help things. The fish and chips i got was good, hot and tasty. I would recommend it for the food but eat in only on warmer days.

Food is amazing! Made fresh to order. Staff is super friendly and efficient. I had the cod basket and hubby had haddock. Delicious and very generous portions, couldn't finish. Will definitely go again!
