Long Sands General Store

This is the best place! Everything we are in maine this is a staple stop for us. The breakfast bulkies are amazing, coffee selection is on point and the Italian subs with hots.... my my there is not any where that can make that better! Everyone who works there is friendly and makes you feel like they've known you forever. I've been to places similar but none stand even close to this one.

Absolutely horrible experience. I was so mad I forgot to take pictures b4 my wife got her food remade and I threw mine in the trash. She ordered a blt sandwich and I got a pulled pork... They put peanut butter and jelly with tomatoes lettuce and beacon on her sandwich and they used pizza sausage for pulled pork.... can't make this stuff up I was dumb founded when I saw that. Not to mention the lady they had working out front didn't listen what so ever and was supper rude... wouldn't recommend this place to anyone at anyploint what so ever.

This store is filled with the kindest workers. They walk around with smiles on their faces and are just so welcoming. My family and I got their breakfast sandwiches and WOW! They were delicious! Despite what people are saying about the man who works behind the food counter, he is an individual who is in charge of making these orders all by himself. Please be considerate about what you are saying.They are short staffed. I would recommend going in even if its just for a peek. Loved it!

The general store has been where we get our lunch on every York trip each summer while on the beach. Their food and icecream is great, the people are friendly, and it's been a tradition for us each time. Great little store inside with a variety of items. Will always make it a priority to go in at least once every time!
