Calico House Restaurant

Calico ghost town is an old silver mine. It funny you still see many Dutch speaking crowed stop here. Overall it is a great experience for visiting old mining town and see how people used to live back in the days of 19th century. The restaurant has a cool atmosphere, food is good and if you find servers like Shaun he will take care of you. Many local handcraft shops and other things to see. It's a day to remember after all.

We came with a very large group and basically overwhelmed the servers. They still did everything they could to keep us happy, including getting our food to us in a timely manner. Everything was as great as I could have hoped for. They were not expecting us all at once, and they handled it like champions.

Great restaurant to hit up while camping or visiting Calico. Service - Great friendly staff and on point on orders. Food - Limited breakfast menu but the food is good with decent portions. They also provide you with peanuts at no charge. Cost - Fair prices and I believe it was a bit cheaper than your typical breakfast spots. Views - Beautiful views of the Calico mines and the train from the deck. Venue - Has a charm to it to take you back to the old days with furniture, decor style etc. Will be back for sure in my next Calico visit for sure.

We had our son's Welcome Home Celebration dinner there months ago. We all enjoyed the delicious buffet style dinner that we chose. The atmosphere and feel was just what we wanted. The staff was kind and on point from planning the event to the end of the evening farewell. We look forward to another celebration to plan there again.
