This is the best 50's era diner in Yermo/Dagget. (There are 3, Pxxx diner, Pxxx diner, and Jxxx diner.) Small but friendly and open 24 hours. No 50's music or statues. The staff anticipates your needs and works to address them. For example, at our small two person table our server saw that we'd run out of room for the plate with the pancake so she asked to put it aside at another table and then covered it with a napkin. And the food is great and good prices, I like the kitchen is opposite the counter so you can see your food being prepared.

I cane with my mom and it was really nice the staff where polite and greeting and the overall atmosphere was very calm yet energetic the service was fast yet the food was good. I had the Chilli cheese burger and my mom had the BLT I recommended this place if your driving by

The food was okay but I'm not crazy about ordering my food on the phone using barcode. That said the little waitress was sweet and empathized with our plight as well tried to get them tech right Sometimes you should leave things as they are People often enjoy interacting with servers and it's the best way for them to earn a good tip

Loved eating at Penny's Diner. The Atmosphere was like traveling to another time with the old fashioned decorations.

If you're driving to Las Vegas, I recommend stopping here. It is close to Calico Ghost Town too. Service was very quick, food excellent and reasonably priced.

We were sat at Peggy Sue's and informed that it was cash only due to their card machine being down. Subsequently, so was their ATM machine, so we looked elsewhere (no slight to PS's, they were nice and understanding when we left). Fortunately, Penny's is right down the road. While not as theatrical as Peggy Sue's, Penny's had wonderful staff and the food was simple and affordable. Zero complaints. 100% could come back.
