While in Yakima, I and my wife were hungry from doing errands in town. So we decided to eat out and try a new spot.
Been many places all over Washington, and have eaten ion many places from A-Z, and we wanted something fresh, tasty, home cooked, and attention to detail and presentation, and lets not forget the most important part of dining experience, the CUSTOMER SERVICE!. .
We walked in and everyone looked happy, and the atmosphere was perfect. 70's-80's rock was playing, and it set a nice relaxed vibe in the place. One thing that stood out to me right away, was the REAL WELCOME, and getting the hostess gave us, as she greeted and seated us Promptly. Her smile, and calm voice made us feel very welcome, and excited to try this new spot.
Once we sat down, she immediately asked us for our favorite choice of drink, and if we would like any thing special, or in particular which showed me we were eating at a refined mom and pop spot, OUR FAVORITES!. . I asked for a lemonade, and my wife a cranberry juice. Once she served us, our glass never ran dry ever. Her attention to our happiness and us having everything we needed to enjoy our meal, made us feel special. She gave us time to look at the menu, and we ordered appetizers before our meal.
One our appetizers arrived, we took our;
FIRST BITE,
and it was like fairies skating gracefully on smooth iced lakes, covered with freshly fallen snow. It was sooooooo goooooood!. . Then we dove into the second dish, and the sauces and presentation told you that we were in for a surprise. Once we bit into the meal, the freshness of quality ingredients were evident, and the food was prepared very delicately with scissor like precision to the T. We enjoyed each and every bite, that we didn't want the plate to finish, and as we were enjoying the antrees, the next round showed up, and it looked delicious.
Our first reaction was;
do we finish these great appetizers? or do we dig into the second round of fabulous food?. . WE DID BOTH!..... .LOL
FIRST BITE, and we were hooked. The meat selections and spices danced on our pallet and tongue like circus de soles performers, before a grand audience. Each bite drew you in more and more, as if it were a suspenseful thriller waiting to surprise you with something new each and every bite, as the spices wirlwinded around your taste buds never letting pin point the specific spice included in each bite that was so good. Two, Three, Four, and more........ was the outcome as each bite drew us closer to the end of a great cooked meal. Once we finish, the party didn't stop,
THE CHEF,
complimented us with a desert the can only be described as
AMAZING!. .
This simple, but custom made desert was displayed with such precision, delicacy, and professionalism, that you almost to freeze it in time to savor and view it beauty as a art master piece.
