Red Robin Gourmet Burgers

Two stars is generous but mostly has to do with the service not the food. I typically really, really like Red Robin but this visit was a compound of errors and poor service. It seemed like most people were being seated in the bar and unfortunately we had the bartender as our service. He was busy there so should not have had a table, but had more than one. It took forever to get our order taken and it was almost an argument to get fries before the meal (standard anywhere I’ve ever been) and tried to be a smart a$$ about the sauces for the fries. Drink refills were long overdue, didn’t check on our meal status after delivery, and never bothered to see if we wanted anything else.

It was a Thursday night, around 6pm... We arrived and put our name on the list and were told it would be a 30 minute wait (we had 4 adults and 6 kids). 30 minutes later when we checked in we were told it would be another 30 minute wait. Obviously this did not make us very happy as the lobby was very crowded with customers waiting to be seated and from our immediate view we could see MULTIPLE empty tables. The waitress did her best but obviously some things were out of her control. We put our order in right away (since we had plenty of time to figure out what we wanted) and still it took 30+minutes to get. We had to ask for things multiple times before getting them, i.e drinks, dipping sauce, more fries. Did we dare order dessert?? Goodness no! We would have been there another hour! I gave 3 stars because the food was good as always and the staff was very friendly. In my opinion they are way under staffed. I'm not sure if they are still following "distancing" guidelines and that's why there were so many empty tables but it was ridiculous. I think in the future we will seek out another kid friendly restaurant.

Good customer service for how busy they were. Unfortunately they forgot our broccoli, and we only got two campfire sauce dips when we had ordered five meals plus a side of fries. also almost forgot the kids meal sodas, we had to remind her while there. Didn't know the rest of the things we're missing until after we got back. Food was hot and tasty. I appreciate that they have multiple side options for meals.

Ive always liked a well done burger I commented I wanted a well cooked patty. I took a bite and it was really pink. I told the waitress and she took it back and brought another one and still I got a pink patty. I understand it gets busy but it’s quantity over quality especially during rush hour. This wasn’t the first time this has happened and don’t plan on going back.

10/14/2021 (5 Stars) They had a number of new items on the fall menu (glad their Chili is back). Today I tried the new "Cheesy Bacon Fondue" burger. IT WAS FABULOUS!!. Two others, seated near me, tried it as well - they LOVED IT as well. I hope this one stays around. Also had the "Mountain High Mudd Pie" still one of my favorites. 9/02/2021 - Another excellent meal today. Best burgers in town. We also has a pizza today. It's good, but I like the burgers more. 7/2021 Great service, food & prices. The COVID-19 cleaning & spacing made me feel comfortable dining inside. Had a Bonzie burger - it was wonderful.

The call ahead order for pickup I thought would be quick and easy. I was told my simple order of two salads & pretzel bites would be ready @6:58. I've waited nearly 15min, still my order not brought out. After 20 min my order was brought out to me. If they're experiencing long wait times a heads up would be appreciated.

I ordered the Whiskey BBQ burger with grilled chicken and added bacon to it. Everything was cooked and prepared correctly as far as the burger goes. The only issue was I ordered fries and added extra fries to that order but never received the extra fries. So that was a bummer. If not for that mishap then I would have given them 5 start.
