Westside Pizza

I have not been here for a couple years. Was out this way (live 40 minutes away) and decided to try it again. I liked the pizza slice last time. The restaurant is clean and well kept - including the bathrooms. The salad & pizza is pretty good and (IMO) better then what the regular national chains serve. I like a good crust and sauce - they did good. The calzone's taste was much less then I expected. Will not be ordering it again. Will return another time, when out that way.

I have to say, the first time I tried the pizza here (over a year ago), I didn't care for it. But awhile back I decided to try it again. OMG, I absolutely loved it and order it often! The Death by Pizza really is to die for!! And the delivery is always quick, the pizza is hot and the drivers are friendly! Thanks Westside!!

Placed an online rider around 340 pm. Usually I get a text or email saying they got my order. Nothing. So I waited a little bit and called them . Yes, they got my order . Said ok. Opened my front door around 440 pm and there was the order on our porch. The food was barely warm . Not good. I wonder how long it had been sitting there?

While their staff is very friendly, DO NOT use their website to order if you only want certain ingredients on half a pizza. They misread the printout or there is a miscommunication between systems. I got four incorrect pizzas today and this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. The first time they fixed it in the pizzas they replaced. This time the manager told me that this is how it is interpreted and I wasn’t doing something right on the website. Based on what he described, saying an ingredients goes on one half means that you want extra of the ingredient on that half.

YOU CAN DEPEND ON WESTSIDE PIZZA!!! I recently found myself in the ER. My autistic son was home alone that night. I got online and ordered his dinner to be delivered via contactless delivery so as not to upset my son with a stranger at his door. I ordered his gluten free pizza and also a personal size one for me so I could eat when I got home. I gave him instructions that he could eat the "big" pizza but the "small" one would make him sick. Awhile later my son called me very confused. I was unable to figure out what had happened as I was still in the ER and in a lot of pain. I called Westside to ask them what was delivered but as the driver wasn't back yet they weren't sure either. I was quite distraught at this point, not knowing if I would be able to return home anytime soon and knowing my son was alone, hungry and upset. The manager on duty didn't hesitate, they made another gluten free pizza for my son and delivered it right away! I think I should add, this was a very busy Saturday night! This was a huge relief to me as I felt helpless in that moment and had no way of fixing the situation on my own!! When I returned home I realized that the first delivery consisted of our original order plus a large half and half pizza that we hadn't ordered. So the second GF pizza they delivered was a duplicate. I went in to the store on 72nd Ave and explained the situation and offered to pay for the second pizza and delivery as it was our mistake. The manager on duty refused to let me pay! One thing I learned is, I CAN COUNT ON WESTSIDE PIZZA, they went above and beyond to feed my son and alleviate my anxiety so I could concentrate on my health!
