Santiagos Gourmet Mexican Restaurant

Excellent authentic Mexican dishes served by friendly staff, has a well stocked bar with over 100 Tequilas, excellent margaritas, cervezas buenas including local brews, and very reasonable prices. The exterior of the restaurant is interesting, but hide how cool and expansive is the interior of the restaurant. The restaurant has been in operation since the earlier 1980s, but had to rebuild after they lost most everything except their coveted recipes when a fire broke out in the historic building. There are specials and seasonal dishes along side very well received classics. And , if Mole is your thing, you will not be disappointed. I will certainly be back.

I complimented and thanked the 2 men standing at the window in the kitchen, they didnt respond. Just stood there staring almost angrily at me. It was really off putting. I asked for a chicken taco instead of beef and the waitress said I dont think he does that. I assume it was one of the non responsive men. Way too much cheese...on everything even the tamale. The tacos were stuffed full and filled with great flavor. Chili relleno was okay almost bland, I wont remember it as good. The cheese enchilada had a great sauce. The salsa tasted fresh and like one made in Olympia which is a favorite in our home. The service was great from both the hostess and the server. Honestly we wont go back there are other better options in the area.

Just eat at this restaurant. The place is very nice and cozy. We enjoyed the privacy that the booths offered. The food is abundant. I had the Cancun and my husband had steak enchiladas and chili relleno. We enjoyed our meal and it was apparent that they favor cheese. If u are looking for savory then u will love these delightful meals. Be prepared to take a box shine and try not to over eat. I really have to give 2 thumbs up on the guacamole. 👍👍💍💎💍💎💝🥰

I ordered some eats about two weeks ago, and as usual, they met every desire with a stellar attitude. The not dining in takes away from the experience a bit, but obviously it of their hands at the moment. I was very excited to see them combat that with large helping of chips and salsa . Keep doing great things Santiago's!

Worst Mexican Italian themed restaurant I have ever been to. This place came recommended while we were in town last weekend. Service was slow. 3 meals, simple quesadillas were burnt and not edible. The enchilada plate looked like dog food. Everything was bland and didn't taste good at all. 12 people in our group and the only thing we could say nice about this place was the chips (from a bag, served cold) were edible. Made sure to tell our hotel that recommending this place was not a good idea.
