Review Zesta Cucina - Yakima

This place has changed since I last came in. I have only been in 3 times and never really happy with the food. This time was different. We had 2 pasta dishes. Chicken fettuccine was up in the top. The white sauce was great and the balance of the dish was right on. The side of bread was not as exciting. It was oily and not much flavor. The chicken parmesan was ok. I really expect more. Chicken was unevenly cooked (from crunchy/dry to normal chicken breast), the red sauce was very skimpy and some pasta had none (and I don't like my pasta floating in sauce). The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. Wait time was just a few minutes even being 6pm on a Friday night.

This was very popular place in yakama, everyone was having a great time. It is a Italian restaurant but i had the ribeye stake they were nice enough to switch out side of potatoes for fresh pasta. Stake was cooked perfectly and pasta was super good, what else can you ask for red meet and freah pasta. Service and food were both fantastic, definitely will go back when i go back to the area for actual Italian food.

Went here for dinner with my wife and her aunt and uncle the other day. My wife and her aunt spoke highly of their cedar-baked salmon, and it did not disappoint. We all also ordered non-alcoholic versions of cocktails from the menu and we were all quite pleased with them - the bartenders did a bang-up job. Our server, Ricardo, was also very attentive and entertaining and welcoming. All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and I would heartily recommend Zesta Cucina to anyone looking for a good meal.

Our server Joshua once again was attentive to our table, making sure our drinks, appetizer and entrees were brought to our table in a timely manner. The food again was delicious, drinks on point and the friendly attitude is always nice and look forward to a come back experience. Thank you!

Most of the time it's a good experience, this past time was a different story. Our waitress only came by a handful of times throughout the entire visit including taking our order and giving us the bill. The appetizer we ordered came out after our meals and it was cold. The swordfish I ordered was a little overcooked but definitely needed some type of sauce to go with it, they did top it with a mango salsa but it needed some type of liquid to go with it. Just all around not a great experience.

Easy to reserve a table online. When we got there,they were able to seat us a few minutes earlier then our reserved time which was nice. Our waitress was so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We started with the calamari, and stuffed mushrooms, which were both perfectly cooked! I'm not usually a fan of mushrooms and they tasted great!For Deseret we had the crembrule(i think thats what its called) and it was amazing! Dinner, staff, and drinks were all amazing!

Wonderful venue. Good food. Super fast and friendly service. Heidi was great!

The food was amazing but the service was awful i have never had service that horrible waitress was very unfriendly and not attentive our table was constantly crowded with empty plates and cups I have been a server for the last 10 years and would never treat my tables like that

Never disappointed when we eat or drink here! Everything is always delicious and the staff is great. The Vodka Cappellini is to die for! Also tried the Lavender Lemon Drop this evening at happy hour, and I’ve never had a more perfectly lavender flavored drink anywhere! Lucho you know what you’re doing keep it up!

Thank you Zesta Cucina! We celebrated my mother in laws 80th birthday there and it was wonderful. The staff let me set up cupcakes and a giant card we had made for her. Dennis was our server he was awesome. He was gracious efficient and had a great sense of humor. Our food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed what they had. At the end of the meal Dennis brought a sundae out to mom for her birthday and a tiara. On top of that he kindly bought dinner for the two veterans that were at the dinner in honor of Veterans Day. Thank you so much for helping us make this a special celebration for mom and the family.

Went there last night for my mother in laws birthday.. food was amazing! Service not so much. Lupita never came back after getting appetizer orders. Appetizer plates sat on the table until dinners arrived. Other people brought our dinners out. We never got checked on by her until everyone was already pretty much finished with their dinners. We tipped the busser that had only been there eight months because he was more attentive than the waitress. I’ve been in restaurant business for 14 years being a bartender and server myself and I did not appreciate her monotone, expressionless face and to be looked down on like she was better than everybody. Super disappointing! I will be back and hopefully we will have somebody that actually enjoys their job!

We had a Beautiful evening, Our Server was fabulous , the food was amazing, best Calamari we had anywhere in Yakima, we also tried the coconut prawns appetizer was very good. We shared entree Chicken Marcella sp? It tasted wonderful, such beautiful presentation. This visit revived our desire to come back to Zesta Cucina as we have had to many negative experiences in the past ranging from very rude service from staff and owner, to food that was so bad couldn't eat it, and they just didn't even care. We hadn't been there in a couple years, our son gave us a gift card for Christmas so we decided to give it a try for New Years Eve, and couldn't have been more pleased..... good job!

Great vibe and Italian /modern European flare. Menu was intriguing and mouth watering...the Waygu filet was beautifully presented and did not disappoint. A long way from home...which is a shame as we would revisit...often! (Written by my wife who thoroughly enjoyed the Jambalaya served on the best risotto we have ever had in a restaurant...Cheers)

Horrible people. Very rude. Claim has a gluten free menu but has no clue what gluten free is. We will never come back here!

Sorry to see the complimentary bread go, but $1.50 isn't bad at all. Love love love the six cheese saccotini, it's my JAM!!! The creamy pesto sauce is to die for! Glad to see it on the regular menu again! I remember falling in love with the dish as "Quattro Formaggio" years and years ago, and then it was a secret menu item 😉 Yum! Margerita pizza was a delicious appetizer too!

Awesome place. My family and I were in Yakima over the weekend, from Seattle. It was by far the best Italian restaurant we have tried in Washington.

We love this place. It was beautiful with all the lights inside and a warm atmosphere. The shrimp scampi and coconut shrimp were both delicious. I will be back if we are in town again.

Great food and service. I love their creme brulee for desert.

The place is amazing. The service was fast and friendly, and the decor is very inviting.

Just moved to town so took myself out to dinner. I sat in the bar and enjoyed the pretty decor. I ordered the roasted Brussel sprouts from the fresh sheet, and they were delicious. Should I mention I am not even a brussel sprout fan? They were that good! I also ordered the chicken cannelloni, which was also delicious. The service was outstanding, and I felt comfortable dining alone. This place rates just as high as many of the restaurants I frequent in the Seattle area. I'll be back!
