Quaint cafe with a vast menu. They have many unique flavor combinations. I had their chicken panini with balsamic glaze. It was very delicious! Great place to catch up with friends or get work done. Will definitely be back!

First time ordering a birthday cake from them. Was certainly not disappointed! The staff did an amazing job and my son was blown away with his spooky cake. Thank you for taking my order on such short notice.

So close to 5 stars...
The good - Great food! - Good service/people - good choice of music (80's) - really good coffee - great selection of teas, and they make their own flavors...some are incredibly good smelling
The drawback for me was that it's more café than coffee shop - drip coffee instead of lattes, etc., (but the coffee is ground prior to each brew & is very good)
Definitely worth becoming a regular.

I never write reviews but Gourmand deserves one. This is the best food in Berks County; you simply cannot find food as fresh as this anywhere else. Eating at Gourmand easily becomes the highlight of my day. I find it difficult to eat anywhere else after experiencing how deliciously fresh food should be—I’m always craving Gourmand. The owner is wonderfully personable and the one of the only chefs who cooks food the way it’s meant to be consumed. Thank you so much for everything you do: You bring so much joy to my heart.
