I am a professor who works near AJ. They are a godsend. I watch my weight and try to eat healthy. Their salads are wonderful. So are the wraps, iced tea, muffins, and cookies. I don't drink coffee, but my colleague loves their lattes. Also, they are fast!! I barely sit down when the young woman working in the kitchen brings my food. Very happy customer.
Stopped in for the first time today. Grabbed some tea. Fantastic selection and great atmosphere. The tea is the best tea I have had in a long time. Definitely found my new coffee/tea spot.
The staff is very friendly and open to trying new things. The food and drinks are always excellent.
My girlfriend and I were visiting friends in Worchester, and we researched coffee places to go visit. AJ came up VERY highly rated in our search, so we decided to stop by... we were NOT disappointed!
The staff was VERY helpful in helping us decide which coffee to get... he even came by our table and offered us a mini-tasted of one of the origins we decided not to go with. WHO DOES THAT?! Great job by him!
The owner/roaster came by and, when he heard that we home roast, started to ask us a bunch of questions. He was VERY engaging, always had eye contact with you while he talked, and was passionate about what he does.
After that interaction, and after tasting a couple of coffees, we ended up buying a bag of the Three African blend. He invited us to stop by the roastery when we had time... so we did a couple of days later.
The gentleman working at the roastery was also very friendly and helped us decide on which origins to try. After he made our drinks, he showed us their roasting space. He explained their process, talked about the roasters, etc. We had a great experience there as well.
Overall, we had such a blast! The product is AWESOME! The staff is AWESOME! I highly recommend stopping by if you're visiting from out of town or, if you live in the area, making Acoustic Java your coffee shop of choice!
I've been living literary across the street from this place for a year and a half now and I've never been inside. I decided to go in today. I was very much impressed. I wish I new the name of the gentleman that helped me. He was great, he helped me understand the difference between cold brew and regular ice coffee. And I was able to get my beloved pumpkin spiced coffee. I will definitely be back!!!!
Terrific coffee. Lots of gluten-free options. Enjoyed our sandwiches too.
Acoustic Java offers two locations at which the soul of Worcester is on display. Everything is beyond delicious and prepared with personal care!
The large Roastery is in the heart of a wonderful old mill complex near
College of the Holy Cross not to missed:)
AJ Main Street near Clark Uni has all the charm of a true college town cafe:)
Simply the best coffee, best atmosphere, and the best staff.
loved the vibe, the coffee and the muffins!!!! #glutenfree
Best coffee shop in Worcester. And a nice food selection plus good cafe atmosphere. Totally recommend!
The best coffee in town combined with a great menu that includes vegan items .
Great coffee and food. Even my 2 year old enjoyed the muffins!!
Relaxing place and perfect way to start your morning
Acoustic Java is excellent. I especially enjoy the breakfast and the hot chocolate!
Went there today for the 1st time. Loved the light roast coffee!
What a cool place. This was my first time in the state, and I was very tired/delusional from a long road trip, but the Barista was intent on helping me. The back corner is full of books and coffee trinkets, very interesting. A bit snug, but cozy. I was surprised to be allowed to play my guitar inside at random, was even given a tip jar! ::) Definitely want to come back.
One of my favorite parts was the quotes, high up on the walls. I wonder how they are chosen.. some kind of coffee purchase/suggestion box contest would be cool so people could win a chance to paint on a quote themselves ::)! Charming textures and atmoshphere.
Quaint little town in Worcester (Massachusetts),serving excellent locally sourced coffee, fresh aroma intoxicating, friendly staff,an array of food options, books to sit back and relax ,just left me spell bound❤️
This is a small and friendly cafe near Clark University. The service is friendly and the process are pretty good, it's a good value. It's a small joint, do during the school year I bet it gets cramped. But, if you have some time to kill or just want to chill for a little bit this is your spot.
I'm writing this review because I had an amazing blooming onion. Bravo. The bar area is fun and young and hip. Great place to go for a couple drinks with a date or pals. And the kitchen is OPEN LATE. Hallelujah.By the way, the music selection was pretty on point while I chowed down my onion. I can always appreciate a good taste in music
This is the North store near Clark University. I've reviewed the southern one and they are both excellent. This one is smaller with a definite college vibe. Coffee was great, muffins were tasty, service was quick and friendly. Wi-Fi is solid and this is a good place to catch up on email, need, etc. Note, due to the size the tables are not large so their southern store would be better for a gathering of more than 3 people. Highly recommend!
Best coffee in Worcester. Too bad main st branch always closes
Best business owner with the best coffee, merchandise and vision.
For sure the smartest most highly educated human you will meet this year and next.
Just ask for a little poetry while ordering your coffee.
Or just ask about any topic on your mind.
If you are going to spend your hard earned dollars this is the place
and business to support.
I tip my hat and am so very proud to know you.
Unfortunately moved out of MA last year but I am blessed to get really fast shipping of their whole beans quickly here in TX. Love all of their blends.
Really fresh baked goods and a nice tea selection. I'm not a coffee drinker, but my husband says it's good. Helpful and accommodating wait staff. Small and cozy so don't count on a seat.
